Opinion on this LED light.

If budget is your concern, skip LEDs until you have the cash to get a GOOD one. A 600 watt HPS is $129, you already have a 4x4 tent which is perfect. You'll be banging out the best buds possible until you can afford a high end LED. Good luck!
Exactly this!

To grow good bud in his space the OP doesn't have the budget for LED so the only other alternative, for his space, is 600watt HPS.

600w HPS grows goooood bud in a 4x4.

This forum gets all pissy when you try suggesting something other then hlg or Alibaba shit so I tend to stay away from asking their opinion on lights. Tbh I've stay away from asking because instead of offering constructive criticism they try shoving their opinions down your throat. That light will work for now but with 4 to 7 plants in 5 gallon pots you're definitely going to need more power. I'm going to be flowering 2 plants with a ts1000 and some side screw in leds so it's possible do with slightly less watts.

People forgot how important good genetics are as well. Doesnt matter what light you have if your genetics are shit.

Trust me I asked this question knowing good and well people will have their own personal bias opinions, mixed in with some bro science. I still was able to learn so much more than if I hadn't asked the question because it lead to other research.

In the end I just decided on going with the two QB2000, mainly because there wasn't another light LED that could match it price wise in my opinion. I think I'll be fine with 400 watts though.

Good on you. I've been wanting to ask opinions on certain lights I've been looking at, but the only thing I get is hlg this, diy that, or Alibaba. Idk but I'm done with it. You have a better attitude then I.

You've gotten three reasonable answers listed there. None of them are adequate?

Definitely not touching Alibaba, hlg is waaaay to expensive and I am not trying to fuck around with diy unless its pretty inexpensive.

I just want a decent light that I can plug n play and go. There are plenty of options out there that are not those three, people just prefer to vomit their opinion without answering my damn questions. Idk I'm done venting lol

Edit: that wasn't directed towards you specifically, its just been building. :weed:

Sure there are other options, but they aren't necessarily better options. If you get the same answers to the same question over and over, why reject the answers?

It's hard to beat 200w for $90, let us know how it goes. I don't do autos but I think they like a little less light and you can run more than 12 hrs/day?

I suggest spending the $15 or so for a lux meter.
