opiate hangover

Anyone get a headache after a night of nodding? I had a very blissful night over the weekend, but woke up with a killer headache. I wouldn't blame dehydration, since I was drinking water all night.

Do opiates once a week? That might be it...perhaps a break is in order

Maybe your allergic to Opiates. I know I am.

smoked them every day for 4 months..or 6 months..or 8 i don't really remember as i was smoking blues everyday lol..

but no, never gotten a 'opiate hangover'.

Actually I hadn't touched them in 6 weeks before that. It wasn't even an extreme amount, one 30mg roxi. No alcohol, no benzos... Took the one pill orally on a full stomach. I took it for some pretty bad shoulder and neck pain. Maybe I just got a tension headache from my neck lol.

i would get "hangovers" when i was using but like alcohol, hair of the dog and the cycle continued.

tension /stress , opiates don't usually induce headache's more of a tummy issue or itching, headache is from the original problem.hints reason for the roxi..lol

Can't say I've ever had an opiate hangover, only withdrawal. I do know some people are allergic but that usually involves swelling

I'm thinking a tension headache from whatever was causing the discomfort that you took the roxi for. Try a nice long hot shower to relax the muscles.

I always do about an hour after I take pain meds, I find that the hot water just feels incredible.

Since im no longer taking opiates every day and in excessive amounts I've just noticed I always have this hungover feeling the next day. Not just the typical brain fog. Maybe its my bodys way of warning me not to over indulge as I used too.

maybe you got a crick in your neck from nodding, happened to me several times, so yeah tension headache i'd say.
