Arbor day is right around then, why not wait until then? A couple of arbor day t-shirts ($14 arborday.org) and you can pretty much go anywhere on public property and start planting random stuff. "Go Green" buzzword is in so I doubt anyone would hassle you, even if the plants were obvious marijuana clones.

Just say it's an elm tree seedling. I doubt your average joe could tell the difference between an elm and cannabis at only 3 inches tall.

Wow man, thinking about it's the perfect climate for political change via a grass roots movement like this.

Global warming means they can grow almost anywhere, the fact that EVERYONE hires mexicans to landscape these days meaning they won't do anything about them, and we have the most liberal congress/white house in 3 decades.

I plan on getting a bunch of friends on this.

But has anybody heard of something like this working in the past?

I think this idea was started by Marc Emery from Canada quite some time ago. It seems the problem with getting this going is that it is easier to sit around, get high and talk about doing it than it is to actually get off your ass and DO it. I realize it is harder to do for some people than others. I have lived in the boonies for the last 25 years, so I have all kinds of out of the way places to plant seeds. Just do what you can. Dont set your sights too high. If you only plant a few seeds in a couple of places, thats more than there were before. Overgrow Big Bro!!!

I've got about 400 seeds from some Barney's Violator Kush and G13 Haze. The original seeds were feminized but hermied later in flower. All seeds are nice tiger striped and large, hard. I think I'll go for a nice long walk that day spreading them everywhere.

let's find all the meth labs, and hide pot plants in there... would make the tweakers flip the fuck out, lol.
but seriously, i truly hope people do get off their robust asses and get a wholly unorganized effort goin! Myabingi!

I quite agree. Even if a few hundred of us planted ten seeds each, thats still thousands of plants.... although I am sure most of us have at least 40 or so to spare

this is all turning very rapidly into a social justice protest using nature herself, lol.

seriously, I was amazed when i started just how much exponential potential mj has in terms of cloning, seeds, and the whole overgrow concept. I'm sure there are more than a few growers that have more capacity/ability/plants to clone than they know what to do with.

why don't we all just make one overgrow mother plant per garden?

Remember, marijuana is a weed. Given the chance, it will mature and make more weeds. All we have to do is get it started and nature will do the rest. And if we keep planting in new locations, it wouldnt take long for there to be wild weed growing all over the fucking place. Big Bro could not afford the money and manpower it would take to try and get rid of it all. Maybe then, the laws would start to change. All you have to do is plant that first seed.

don't you think an overgrow of herb (by that def.) would overwhelm any ecosystem? More likely, the ecosystem would self balance, or be destroyed. its too early for me to articulate sufficiently, so... thoughts?

JUST A LITTLE inspiration lol

you can get a 72 cell starter tray for like 2$ and start up 72 plants and easily walk out into any woods with it unseen just check this out.

And after they sprouted for a week you can pop out the little cubes of soil with a root intact and easily transplant it.
