Operation "Faithful Parrot" - American Troops Respond to Invasion

Yeah, I know - it's really called "Faithful Patriot" but I think Faithful Parrot is much more fitting.

Having forgotten our ten percent middle class tax-cut, Trump has fully committed himself to beating the war drums against the "invasion" of brown people slowly making their way north.

We're going to spend up to $200 million on this pathetic over-reaction in order to prop up Trump's racist rhetoric - and what do you think will happen when they finally get here?

Meanwhile Trump's favorite member of the master race, Stephen Miller lurks in the background finding new ways to subvert our asylum policies.

This week, he got Trump to announce that only those who cross at designated border crossings will be allowed to apply for asylum, a subversion of our long standing policies. Maybe next week we will only allow them to apply at Port Huron and only between the hours of 1 and 2 pm after Regina comes back from lunch.

Any of you Trump supporters who think you support America by supporting Trump are dead wrong. You are mindless puppets being used in a cynical game to give power to an individual who cares for nothing but themselves. You are his "Faithful Parrots" and the poor bastards who get to spend the rest of the year in tents are just pawns.

Nothing lasts forever.

I often ponder what the post Trump world will look like. Will the parrots who didn't vote before Trump no longer vote?

Will there be more hate speech inspired violence until then?

Will the public finally turn against him after Mueller's report. Will there even be a report?

Are we doomed. Will he start a wag the dog war?

There's always hope he'll get physically sick, he's already near mentally unbalanced.

Or go get a bucket of KFC and a Big Mac.

Will we have to wait for this idiot to be held accountable by historians or will the shit hit the orange in the next couple years?

Kinda like "what would have happened if Hitler died in a car crash" in 1938.

I am not so sure, Goebbels was a terrible orator. But we will never know.
My dad told me stories of his (Hitler's) speeches (translated on American radio with him in background) in the late '30's. Scary shit. They knew he was a madman.

I think Michael Moore has our current madman nailed. "Evil genius". Moore has nailed every prediction including Michigan voting for him and his winning in 2016.

Pay attention to Moore. He's on the pulse of the people. He sees more than the polls show, no matter how sickening.

No, they didn't.

They agreed with him.

They hated jews, blacks, immigrants and the rest just like they do today.

That's why the U.S. turned ship loads of jews away and sent them back to die.

That's why blacks and Japanese Americans weren't allowed to fight along side whites.

Your dad was a lying sack of shit. He and the rest of the planet agreed with Hitler and wished him well until Japan fucked everything up.

THAT is the truth of the matter.

You didn't even know his parents.

Trump has rallies all over that people are willing to go to - but I know he is a madman.

Yes, I do. We all do. FACT: we turned the jews away. We didn't want them any more than anybody else did.

There was no movement to save them.

There was no outrage over turning them away.

In fact, all Americans celebrated the fact it was their problem and not ours.

Until of course Japan made it our problem.

Sell your self righteous shit somewhere else. Even our history books say you're wrong.

The Power of Emotions to Override Rational Thought
Fuel for destructive anger

The capacity to recognize when child logic influences our expectations is essential for developing resilience, a key component of well-being. Resilience is a strength that allows us to bounce back from adverse consequences. It consists of recognizing when our expectations are overly influenced by hopes and wishes. Resilience very much depends on the flexibility of thought to let go of certain expectations, when we recognize we have no control over satisfying them. Certainly, this is not always an easy task. It involves grieving and mourning, dealing with a sense of loss that often moves us to sadness and disappointment instead of anger.

Some suggest that not having expectations is the only way to avoid disappointment. However, this attitude seems to be both pessimistic and a denial of a very human tendency. Rather, the real threat posed by maintaining expectations is when we cling to them and when they are overly influenced by child logic. The challenge for each of us is to be mindful when this occurs, as these two conditions form the bedrock of destructive anger.

no, that's what some of them did. some of them were decent people who indeed thought he was a madman.
racism did exist, and still does. so does painting a whole country with a broad brush because of the actions of some........does it look like all of us just accept trump? so why would we all agree with Hitler?
prejudice works both ways....be careful what you're stepping in....

Hey rebel trash loudmouth

Our soldiers were shocked when they encountered the first concentration camps. At home, before the war and well into it, the average American knew nothing of mass killing of Jews. Nothing. We didn't really know till we had ground troops in concentration camps.

Let's talk about Georgia history now.
How did your people like those 'colored only' signs everywhere up into the 1960's?

Now THAT's southern history. Everybody knew about that.
