Opening a dispensary

Has anyone gone about the process or research in opening a dispensary in Toronto? Interested in going full time with cannabis. I believe the front line would be best for me and my situation.

Legalization task force has recommended federal government govern supply and provincial government govern distribution. I'm hoping this changes as I would rather garden as a career.

Anyways testing waters, want to be at the starting line.

Why need a store front..... I think personal delivery would be awesome.... drop by/appointment with backpack full of many "flavours" hahaha jk but hey that would be awesome cause those that can't get around can get smell and look before buying

Rent a store front and set up shop. That's all there is too it. There are no permits you need to apply for...

I've seen ads and previously closed despensarys might still be vacant. Only rent I've ever seen was 2400$

The personal delivery would be a side service for a dispensary

yep you could.... to lic. med patients via bike courier or on foot. in gta or surrounding area's
same day service.
"Meds to GO"
"HERB FOOT"
"MMJ TODAY"
"MEDICATION COURIER"
You get the idea !!!!
should be plenty of room for craft growers and custom services
"Dwyanes DRUG MART"
"HIGH HILL ORGANICS"

Well its a double edge sword, what if the gov comes back and says because you ran an illegal dispensary you don't qualify for the store front license.

Haha I guess it would be possible. How do dispensarys find clients? Store front walk in? Hire a Chinese medicine person? Lol

Having a Doc direct you clients would be ideal.....just look at the big guys....
SO maybe having some young person pound the pavement and do 5 to 10 mins(talks) top.... to doctors
say offering your services as a back up or substitute to LP's for those requiring actual organic meds...say...
sell the service end of it..... the client gets what they need hand delivered... same day...no waiting

That's what BC is saying or something, there's a thread on it. Doesn't seem right to me.

I'm leaning more towards a mail order dispensary. I think it's a good way to keep costs low. I would think a store front might flourish better after a name is made. Any ideas thoughts welcome

Pretty sure there aren't rules when it comes to starting illegal businesses...

Is this even serious?
