Here are a few pics of the space I have to work with its 40x10x8... I am open to all ideas at the moment, and or pointers to a successful build direction...

No one is gonna be able to peak through the windows are they? I'd consider finding a way to cover them.

The windows will be boxed Inn with bamboo blinds so it looks natural!

Very Nice Space! Looks like some sort of 1st floor basement?
Regarding the smell, I would maybe air seal the ceiling first by installing a layer of drywall on those joists & maybe even insulation or foam. A bead of caulking around all air gaps. The more sealed you can get it the better. Although not really needed, just a suggestion. You could also build smaller rooms within the space, or set up a couple of grow tents, so many options.
How many watts are you thinking ? Or how many plants do you picture yourself growing at once?

Well my idea is to run 6-8 1000s.... 2 rooms 10x10 veg/clone/mother room and an 30x10 flower room, at the moment I am painting the floors with behr ultra white outdoor paint and trying to figure out my electrical plan.... I picked up an powerbox 15000td 60A hardwire from an buddy, and am trying to figure out my best way to go about running a sub panel and hooking it up.
