Open-Salt, An open fertilizer database

Based on the idea put forth by by az2000 in the thread I started on reverse engineering everyone's nutrients,https://www.rollitup.org/t/reverse-engineering-everyones-nutrients.893906/ I've started a website called Open-Salt. It's purpose is to provide you, the hobbyist grower, the education and resources to blend your own fertilizers and maybe even some theory on general growing practices. Whether it's matching the bottled liquid blend you already use, or customizing your own blends. I'm basically trying to open source the blending of fertilizers. Mostly because I'm sick of proprietary shit and poor labeling requirements.

It will currently only list the recipes. It's been suggested that I sell the raw materials as well, but I'm not sure how soon that will happen. Getting wholesale contracts with manufactures can be a process sometimes and it often requires a more significant upfront investment than a simple website. But once it happens, you should be able to see how much cheaper it is to blend yourself. Once that happens, you can expect me to pay for advertising here. Until then, feel free to use it and buy whatever you need elsewhere.

Feel free to let me know what you guys think. I just threw it together today. Well, it took 9 hours, but I digress. Building the SQL database will take a while longer because I've never built a SQL database before. Once that's done it will make searching much easier and will allow a lot of added functionality when it comes to searching for stuff.

Obviously, I haven't written many articles yet, since it's hardly been up an hour, but if you want to write an article for it, let me know. I know the forums can be a clusterfuck of information to search through sometimes.
