Tor does not hide who you are. Anyone can find you if they look hard enough.
Tor just makes it a bit harder for the average person.
You'd freak out if you knew what info could be found out.
I once knew a police officer who did online investigations. When he got drunk he would yap about what he could do.
To hear this kind of shit come out of a persons mouth that is supposed to be trusted, just makes me fucking sick.
The worst kind of person there is! Rats and Hippocrates come in second.

I hope you disposed of him correctly... I know tor isn't perfect. It just means Leo's need to spend more to find out what I'm upto on the Internet which as it turns out is mostly arguing with pro lp peeps.

You know it's happening, I try to cover my trail and use deterrents wherever I can, but certainly know that there is no such thing as 100% safe. As much as I detest the invasion of privacy, I also know I can't do anything about it. Whether government agencies or mere cops you know that snooping goes on unofficially. But if I can't do anything about it, I don't worry or bitch about it.

Lol, that would be funny but you know they never catch their own, it would be swept under the carpet and handled in alternative ways. Can't have cops catching cops, that would be just wrong - lol

Best bet is to use a combination. Tor is crap (especially in the US), but combining it with other proxies or routers makes it a headache for them to follow - they would have to really want to know what you're up to.

At the same time, not using anything often means you'll go unnoticed because you aren't on the networks they're monitoring. I'm not concerned about what they're doing in Canada, in the states they track far more and they track us Canadians because we aren't citizens of their fine country. They've come out saying they won't track US citizens to the same degree as everyone else, but 100% they track all international traffic that passes through their nodes.
