I have 9 green crack plants growing in An ebb N flow setup, all of them look amazing except one plant that looks very odd, this is my first grow using receipe for success by floranova and a 1000w hps. Attached is a picture of the subject plant and a healthy plant, they are close to harvest.

Thanks for your help20180507_134307.jpg 20180514_013135.jpg

I see what you mean.
Looks like its bolted.
What are your temps and humidity?
You say you're using 1000watt hid? This plant is the only one, of nine to be affected? Is this plant directly under your hid bulb?
What are your canopy temps as well?

By the looks of things. The grow environment is probably a little hot. Most likely the canopy. Probably a little dry too.

Little more info about your environment needed......

Room temperature?
Humidity?
Canopy?
All during lights on, and off?

I have an environmental controller with co2 at 1200 ppm, keep humidity at 65 when lights on 45 when off, temps lights on close to 84 lights off around 78. Yes this plant is the center plant....It actually had a light fall on it when it was young could that affect it like this? That was before flowering.....

Yeah. So it is the center plant.
I thought so. It's happened to me before as well.
It's just a little, it's, bitsy too much light in the center. Or the light is slightly too close.
Not much you can really do. It's only one fox tail. It'll probably only happen to the center plant as well.

Nitrogen can make plants bolt too. But it's more than likely the extra light intensity, in the center.

My thoughts are just to wear it. Then chop it off when you're trimming the harvest.

Ok thanks for your help, Its very airy and has sooooo many little leaves hardly any bud in it, I'll prob chop it up for BHO

Yeah sounds good. It should be fine.

When it happened to me, I chucked it into my butter, for edibles.

Also forgot to mention, Its every bud on this plant not just the tallest one, every single bud is goofy like that even the ones low in the canopy.....

Lol.yeah.
It was the same for mine.
I had nice colas on the bottom. But there was a lollipop on the end of each of them.
On the lower branches. The colas were nice. Fat too. Just had this little popcorn lollipop, on the end.

It was a pain in the arse. It was like the colas grew a stem, and decided to grow taller.

It happened to me during a really hot summer.

I think if 8 out of 9 plants look amazing OP. I wouldn't worry.
It's more than likely the extra light in the center.

The top pic?
Is it one of the others? Or the same plant?
If it's a different plant, I do think you should cut back on your nutrients.

Probably good time to start cutting back on your ppms, in anticipation for harvest. Don't stress. Little bit of burn on your fan leaves, not a big deal. Bud still looks good, and fat.

If you're close to harvest as you say. I reckon just start your flush cycle.

these would correct your problem if the problem plant is directly under the center of the light. it would be because it's getting too much light. it's a diffuser, it eliminates hot spots. you slide it over the socket, then screw bulb in. it redistributes the light more towards the edges of the light's footprint. they work great.

edit: then again, it wouldn't necessarily effect the whole plant. it's definitely some kind of stress, but it could still be too much light. hid lights give off so much infrared, i believe that could penetrate the canopy and possibly cause it everywhere and not just on the tops.
