hi guys so i have been growing successfully for the past 4 years in coco peat using synthetic fertilizer aka chemical base.....
this is my first time doing organic grow in coco peat . so my question is according to my knowledge..
can i only use blood meal and bone meal in coco peat cannabis grow with added cal mag
the reason there is no extra organic potassium(K) fert is that coco itself has a lot of potassium

got inspired by Mr Canucks grow from youtube to do organic grow in coco

so am i doing it the right way or do i need to add extra organic potassium fertilizer such as banana skin ..

right now my set up is as follows
3 gal fabric pot
70/30 coco perlite mix buffered with calmag
3 tea spoons (30g)of blood meal and 6 teaspoon (60g) of bone meal.
ph in 6.1 and ph out 6.5-6.6 with 350ppm tds on run off
balcony grow with 8 hours of direct sunlight
for flowering i have a tent where i will shift in it everday in and out for darkness .
but for now its vegging outside in balcony .
thank you guys ...
roll it up has helped me from the start ...so thank you to the community as well...peace ya all!!

What about micronutrients?

I don't understand what's so great about that Canuck guys grows. I took a peak at one of his videos and saw this. Crispy fried plants. Why would anyone want to grow plants like this? I would do the opposite of what he does.

is this a succesful grow for the guy? Hahaha. Good luck to him. I’ve been growing for only 4 years now and never had such shitty plants, not even in my first run. Maybe 20 years of gardening has something to do with that but still.

you can make fpe from banana skins for potassium boost. Ferment the peels in lab or em till ph hits 3-3.5 then start off with 5mls per litre of water. depending on how much peels you used that may be too much or too little but you can adjust haha
for micros it’s good to use some seaweed.
usually bone meal is also not very available to the plants. it takes a long while before it brakes down.

Exactly man. I think that dude's a fool. You gotta be careful who you take advice from.
hey guys i completely agree that at the start of his videos it sucked..but during his later videos i saw some of his autoflower strains he grew like moby dick and other seeds from sweet seeds and oh boy wer they short in height and fat af nugs...like a foot and half plant has 120-150g of yield...like tf !!!..

hey thanks for the advice ..exactly what i am gonna do ..ferment banana in water ...thanks a lot all of you for your replies..

but few doubts i have...
doesnt blood meal and bonemeal consist enough micro nutrients ?
isnt the potash that releases natrurally from coco peat is enough to supply the K part of the nutrient to the plant ?....

and how often to i top dress my coco grow...? and how much quantity of blood and bonemeal during topping ??

From someone who knows the guy personally, his plants are not nasty the reason they look like that is cause that’s how there supposed to look before they come down. After they have leached all the Nutes in plant and medium. He also grows strains that do fade and leach. No one duct taped u to the chair and said this is how you grow you clicked it and watched it. I mean I might not agree with everything the dude does but by no means is it wrong info and Matt ( mr cunuck) Tells you it’s just the way he does it. He also tells you the other ways to do things even tho it’s not his method. tbats just his organic grow he used to grow using Nutes now he is all about organic amendments.
just wondering where your vids are of u cropping aquarter pound from an auto Using less then 200 watts.
I mean if you got one I’d love to see it cause your methods and all that must work better or same?

hey guys my question is do i need to add organic potassium fert to my coco peat or the cocopeat itself breaks down naturally releasing K and thus i do not need the K feed for my grow?.... i dont want to overfeed by adding banana skin as K fert in it ...thanks

Where's the "humic" component? EWC or compost?

What source provides the microbes that break down the components of this "organic" mix into plant available nutrients?

I'm certainly no expert and I grow in my own soil blend, but everyone that I've read about who grows in coco seems to basically consider the coco as an inert hydroponic medium and they add aerated hydroponic nutrient solution at least once per day.
From my own experience, with a pretty decent, organically-based soil mix, once a good, strong plant gets going in flower, I need to add a complete fertilizer mix of some kind (including cal-mag and nitrogen), or else she will slow down, go pale or otherwise show signs of weakness after about 3 weeks. I guess that this is because a pot simply can't hold enough nutrients for a seven or eight week intense growing period under strong lights - maybe I'm wrong, or maybe a massive pot would fix it, but we have to remember that managing water and root-zone oxygen is important too.
I think that @waktoo 's comments above are pretty relevant also.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's not going to use the expression "cuck", especially if it's in caps.
