Only 2 out of 5 Seeds Germinated. Who do I Contact - Attitude or the Breeder Nirvana?

I order from The Attitude seed bank a 5 pack of Blue Mystic feminized. Only 2 out of the 5 germinated. I waited an extra week to see if the others would pop-up, but they didn't. Attitude also gave me 4 free seeds, 2 of which germinated & the other two didn't.

I'm just curious who I should contact about the Nirvana seeds not germinating? I don't really care about the free seeds, but I was looking forward to the Super Bud that didn't germ.

Anyways, any help (with links if possible) would be greatly appreciated.

has very many people had this problem????

you have a 50/50 chance of any seed germinating its not the seller or the breeder its just nature i had a pack of 10 regs from another site i only got 5 to germinate

You should try the breeder if you think the seeds were bad. Like Nitro said, the disclaimer leaves attitude free from that part of the equation.

Unfortunately as you have bought these seeds from Attitude seedbank, you will need to contact them about your germination problem im afraid. We unfortunately cannot be held responsible for 3rd party website seeds as they deal with Nirvana Wholesale and has nothing to do with the online store im afraid. Coming to us is like asking a dairy farm to replace your sour milk you bought at your local grocery store right off the shelf. Its up to your local grocery store to replace the sour milk and not the dairy farm.

From my understanding of retail, if you guarantee a product & you stand by it there should be a no questions asked exchange policy. I'm still waiting to here back from Attitude.

I had a 10 pack of regular Blue Mystics, I've germed 8 so far, and all 8 popped. Not all 8 were strong, and I currently only have 1 left seeing as a few were male as well...but all 8 germinated, along with EVERY one of the seeds I got from the Attitude as freebies...Every single one.

I've heard lots of good things about Attitude that is why I order from them. Hopefully they will stand by Nirvana's guarantee, but as someone already stated they do not have to. Anyways, I'm very happy with the seeds that did germ, so whatever happens is all good.

I'll keep you all posted on what Attitude says.

Are yah sure it isn't grower error? Did they get moldy and furry? When I first started out I killed a few but once I got the hang of it, nothing dies. heh

Then what do you say??

Not grower error, have had no problems with my method of germination until now. Still haven't heard back from Attitude. I did receive my order in a timely manner, and the seeds were not crushed so overall I'm happy. Just would have been nice to have 5 instead of 2 plants.

Still waiting to here back from Attitude, think I will try emailing them again with 00ashoo suggestion.

maybe say they where cracked when recieved...But like u said u got 2 freebies to kinda take there places..How did u germ them?I did 9 thinking i would have some not germ and dye when young well nope now im over filled...all 9 r strong and 4-4.5 weeks into flowering although a couple r taking alittle while to form actual buds and r throwing out less pistils than the rest but when the 6 that r thriving r done ill just throw them in 12/12..

That was exactly what I was thinking, hopefully my 1st email will not cause an issue. As far as the germ process, I've done the following (or similar) with great success for many years:

Soak seeds for 1-day in water
Jiffy starter soil in a starter tray (also have used cups or yogurt containers with same results)
Fish tank, 17w florescent grow light. The tank is covered with a wooding board and the light to keep humidity high. There is also a very small gap between the wood and light to allow fresh air in.
I also mist inside the tank and on the starter dirt several times a day to keep everything most & humidity high.

This is the first time I've had an issues with this method, so I think it was the small possibly immature seeds that were the problem.

just dont say aything about germination they just wont reply n if they do it will be just to say we dont talk about germination of seeds

say they came cracked
there all immature and you cant put them in your collection

just make up anything mate im sure they dont care but they cant be seen to endorse the growing they dont know you, could be some fed

Hopefully I will here back from them by tomorrow. If not I may still give them another try. Shipping was fast, but the small seeds are most likely Nirvana's fault not Attitude.

Anyways, thanks for all the replies. I'll let everyone know what happens if anything.

so i looked on their website and it says that you should talk to them about how your seeds didnt germ. they wont respond to questions about growing...theyll probably get tighter on this when that new dutch law goes into effect. did you try germing them in a warm dark place? i have ordered from attitude a couple of times, i usually stick with my clones, but i said the seeds arrived damaged. that might help.
