Nice clean drying room. I have those drying nets myself.
Is that 2lbs per 1000 watts you are shooting for?

I buy cheap iPower bulbs or less than $25 each delivered off of Amazon or Ebay. Great deal for the price and quality, especially if used only a few crops. I also use their ballasts, which have been fine too for about $105 each. I also saw last night a box of 6 for around $110 on the bulbs on Amazon.

Actually had to container some of the earliest cut stuff this afternoon, it's been cold here and the heat has been running quite a bit, lowering house humidity and drying things quickly. I've upped my overall weight estimate a bit, maybe closer to 3 lbs to 3.25 lbs. Product is really nice, here's a pic showing some purple and resin.....................click on the pic for resin overload!

Any chance you could post a link to said bulbs and ballasts?

Dr., go to Amazon and search out "iPower 1000 hps bulbs".........just went there, less than $25 each and $112 for 6 pac.

For the ballast, I see it at Amazon too for $93- same ones I use. Search "iPower 1000 watt digital electronic ballast".....I'm in my 3rd year with 2 of these, adjustable wattage which i like and no issues so far when them.

I would have copied and pasted it but I just got a new laptop and I'm downloading software..............

Ebay prices are comparable too, if you prefer there.

Final weight was a surprising 47 oz.......more than happy with that and I had to double check everything to make sure my addition was correct. If I had the time I could have left all the plants to finish in the room for another 2 weeks and probably would have pulled another 12-14 oz from the lower stuff. Another strain where a you learn a lot from the first grow and can dial it in the second grow.

Either way, everything trimmed from top to bottom is covered in a thick coating of resin, has a subtle melon odor and has a nice, expanding smoke. About 25% of the buds have some purple in them but the overall appearance and bag appeal is outstanding. I haven't let anyone try it yet but by Monday I'll have seen a bunch of testers for an opinion.

A very easy grow though, one that I've spent less time with than any in the last two years or so. It basically grew itself, I watered and did not do much else. I kept the N level higher than normal and I think it helped the overall health of the plants later in flowering- no yellowing and they stayed healthy throughout. In time, after the cure, I'll provide some pic's and a detailed smoke report........time to enjoy a bowl!

Tried to take some pic's tonight from the iPad, nothing did it justice. But I saved the best one of the lot just some you can see the resin production, which is massive. I had never even heard of Oni's Seeds before finding them on Twitter where he has some fantastic pic's of his stuff. Only 8-9 days from harvest, and as it continues to dry, the resin keeps getting more pronounced. I vaped it for the 1st time last night..........and no doubt it's potent. Vaping i think gave it a bit more "head" in the high, but it's definitely a relaxing buzz, I spent a good part of then evening listening to music and playing my guitar. I'll reserve my overall potency grade and a taste/smell profile after it cures more in a few weeks. Make sure you look in the right corner of the picture for an amazing "flowing resin" shot.IMG_0098.jpg

You do realize this thread is from march right..............I still have a bit of this left, but I use it in edibles more than smoke it. It was good, but not great and it's easy to find great stuff these days.

That's what's up, and yea I'll post on 10 year old threads. Why not? Lol
I got a nice collection of seeds these days. Currently running humble pie, doc holiday, and Tennesse Kush. I'm just now finding Oni seeds. Have you grown the dubb breath? Main one from Oni I'm interested in.

This strain is a hybrid with Oni's signature strain Papaya (NOT Nivana's Papaya) and Purple Punch, which is Larry OG X Granddaddy Purple. Their Papaya is known for its' sweetness and bulk (yield). What attracted me to it was it's 80% leaning to the indica side, heavy yield, and great pic's on Instagram. I bought the last 4 packs available, and was lucky to get them as others had them in their cart and hadn't yet pulled the trigger. LOL. I started 24 plants, but pulled 4 out as the room became too unmanageable with so much material in there- but had 100% germination.

It's supposed to be a short plant, so I vegged longer than normal, around 33-34 days I think. Todays pic shows the room in flowering, at day 41. They are supposed to go 9-10 weeks, and the different pheno's are readily evident. I didn't top the plants this time, which I normally do- just grew them out and let them do their thing. I've also kept their N level higher than normal, about 50/50 with the veg/flowering nutes hoping to keep the plants greener for a longer run. I've had to keep the Cal/Mag levels high too, 10ml per gallon of r.o. water as they have the tendency to taco, so be aware.

The plants at this point have quite a stink, but with a sickly sweetness to them. I had to lollipop the bottom 20% or so on most of the plants as they put off a lot of bottom crap which won't amount to the quality I'm looking for. Yield so far looks good, not great but the plants are a bit leafy (maybe because of the high nitrogen)- I'll start trimming 1-2 sun leaves a week off each plant starting shortly, to help the light reachView attachment 4089599 further down, increase air circulation and make final trimming somewhat easier. The yield might be better then I'm expecting, just can't see deep to the back or downward. No bug issues, very healthy grow and easy to manage up to this point.

I'm here for questions, updated pic once a week with another writeup.
This is beautiful. I know a late response but I just had my papaya punch peak thru soil top and my other one germinating I'll be planting her tmrw. Will be asking you thousand questions thru this
