One week old, going good just have some Q's

So I have 2 plants growing, 1 week old growing in soil under a 150w hps and some cfls. Ph is 6.2-6.5, is this good? Plants look pretty good. Oh, and when should I start to use nutes? Any input appreciated

yo reefer...i would start using some nutrients. first off....your ph is ok. i use soil and keep my ph between 5.8 - 6.2; you will find that happy spot for your garden. so for the nutrients...i would start off with a .25 or .5 dosage feed. so if your nutrients say to use 4 tsp/gal.....you would use 2 tsp/gal (.5 strength) or 1 tsp/gal (.25 strength). and then you can see how your plants respond. if they seem to be taking the nutrients nicely, you can increase the nutrients over the next couple feedings. hope that is easy enough to follow. you may want to consider mixing your own medium on your next cycle....or just get to known the medium you are using (find out whats in the soil and if you need to add anything or not). i often use fox farm....i always add perlite personally.

i dont start nutes till about half way threw veg or about week 3 or the plants life..your soil has more then enuff nutes to support a lil tiny plant as long as its a decent bag of dirt..you want to let the roots develope a lil bit befor giving nutes in my opinion. ..i agree /w 2dog about the .25 or .5 strenth nutes.. but i never went over .5 even if the plant takes nutes well..realy you should grow organicly buy hey you rly didnt ask about that huh.

I got some bonide 10-10-10, and some Alaskan morbloom 0-10-10 for nutes
