one stressful life

yeah the buds stopped getting bigger, from getting fried im assuming, she stopped producing the long white pistils too, but now she has started again and with a vengeance. with all the new growth on her the past few days, i think i freaked out too soon, cause she seems to be thriving right now. finally got to my hard drive to work properly. pics of what she looked like before she got fried and the last pic is of the white pistils beginning to come out now at the very very top. its obviously not a great pic, i swear it always one thing or another, but there are new white pistils everywhere and little baby super green leaves. the new green contrasting against the old deep purple looks amazing. ill try to get one more pic of what she looks like now. but i think the sea has calmed, lol.
Hmm... I am not too sure about the new growth because this has never happened to me but if it looks good I would say just keep at it and harvest the new buds when they are ready.

Good luck.

looks like you have no fan leaves on there at all haha but yea never ever use miracle grow! its miracle shit at growing marijuana go get some proper hydro ferts and you'll be much better off! larger mediums (pots) are helpful to transplant into but when you in flowering its only going to cause more harm then any good, also with the medium (pot) your using now you know you could have put way more soil in it to give your plant more room for its roots, I try to keep about a 3/4 inch distance from the top of the dirt to the top of the medium so you have room to water without it spilling over but giving maximum space to the roots to grow, also gives you more time in between transplants.

Not being an ass or pointing this out to cause an arguement or piss anyone off just to ensure proper info is passed around, but the medium is not a pot. The medium is what the plant grows in. In hydro the medium is water and nutes or could possibly be coir/hydroton/perlite with a large amount of water, in hempy bucket style grows the medium may be coir or perlite or someother soil-less medium, in soil grows, well soil is the medium.

Miracle grow will and has worked countless times to grow MJ. You just have to use it sparingly and dilute it heavily, its a real potent fert. You also have to keep a constant flushing schedule, due to the amount of extra salts I've noticed that coincide with MG nutes.

To the OP:
It looks like the plant was just stunted from the loss of leaves and stress, which momentarily put flowering on hold while it produced enough healthy new growth to start flowering back up again. The buds you see now are probably gonna be way over done by the time the whole plant has matured. A small sacrifice compared to what you will pull from the healthier, fully matured plant. I would pretty much start my flowering schedule over again from this point(or consider it started over) It basically rebooted the flower system. I dont think any harm has been done but only time will tell.

By the way, what strain? I like the color those buds picked up.
And also, Its never too late to start nutes. I would start with a light feeding of veg nutes once, maybe twice, with plain water feedings in between. Its really hard to tell how much and when to feed, you just have to learn to "read" the plant. She will be the only one who can truely tell you what she needs, when she needs it, and how much of it she needs.

Thanks, I am all about giving my girls room to stretch their tiny little legs. You will find that a root bound plant will be stunted so you are correct about your girl being compacted.

Started off good but .... :wall:

You are correct about "medium" but your following comments really show you as a newb. Am I mistaken?

Thats the freakin word That has been on the tip of my tongue...stunted. To be honest, I didn't really plan on growing, she was just a seed I had come across in my smoke. But I am pretty confident in saying that I narrowed it down to Purple Skywalker. She did at times though smell like a bowl of fruity pebbles, however it could have been the way it smells just from growing.
Unfortunately, I was doing my hourly inspection and saw signs of her turning male. It was a terrible day, my dad cut her down as I put my hands over my eyes and turned my back towards them, lol. I couldn't bare to watch over half a year of TLC go down the drain. Though what i harvested smoked pretty decent however....got 12 grams off her.
p.s. and yes, the purple was amazing, too bad i couldn't get those pics on here. any who...again, thanks to all. i think i'll leave it up to the professionals to grow or at least until i have much more time on my hands.
