It's a "reality" show. so the characters exist, but no one will admit to actually watching it. I've only seen clips of it on another empty show, "talk soup" which shows the best/worst clips from all these inane shows.

If the shows are on a network, then ppl are watching.

Just chipping in on the fort thing, they fuckin rule! Built one on mushrooms with my best friend and his kids a while back, as they collectively woke up when we were feeling rather splendid. To be honest, I'm glad they suggested it and would've happily lived in that thing for a while.

i really dont mean toi make this sound wrong but id love to take mushrooms and play with kids. I too reccomend snorkeling while on mushrooms a true fucking treat man.

I'll give snorkelling in shrooms a go when I'm in Thailand next man. Kids are so refreshing, no bullshit, honest and pure and full of the joy of life. That's always a good thing to be around

I like to play with my dog when I'm high.

I feel like getting stoned puts me more in tune with nature, and that my natural body language says everything it needs to.

My dog and I completely understand each other, she responds to changes in my body position in relation to hers. We like to play tag except I'm always 'It'.

We play rough with her rope and often collapse into cuddles haha

Its a beautiful thing...

I feel like a lot of people forget who they really are and what they really are in the hustle and bustle of today's world...

I watch them on computer in legal streaming websites. I wish i had national geographic channel sometimes cause i like their programming when i visit parents gaff. Also wish i could just watch the news instead of reading them sometimes...

Agreed. Last 420 all I did was take few rips more than normal and go for a long walk in the woods. I found 2 deer skulls, giant quartz boulders, a 10lb puff mushroom and 30-40 year old chainsaw randomly sitting on a stump. Left the chainsaw and boulders (obviosly) but put the skulls on my skull tree.
Another good one is being in the boat fishing with couple j's and good cup of coffee while the sun is just coming up. Or sunset with a six pack

Yes, these are real people. But think about where any of us live... Let those without sin.

But there is more to it than that. Way more than I can bear sometimes. Shit, I went fishing up in WI last week and could find a honey boo boo in any Wal-Mart up there (google Walmart if you must... Or just the images.)

So despite the Great Society, Trickle Down, Great Leap Forward, etc. the dumbing of America continues unabated. So does the fattening. But just in case anybody else in Europe is reading this - that doesn't necessarily mean that we can't get our shit together when we need to and kick some ass when necessary. Uh, sorry. National pride to the extent....

We have always been stupid. But the digital age both exposes our stupidity and makes us stupider.

But cable tv is getting like the Internet here. There are a bazillion cable channels. Most are owned by a handful of companies that are segmenting the market. This makes for some strange shit. Like a HistoryChannel that shows no history and a discoveryless DiscoveryChannel. Both used to be old school channels with programming worthy of the BBC's best. But the times have changed. The station management is vested in finding freaks and fetishists now.

You cannot judge us by one show. This show probably has more hate/wonder watchers than 'fans'. I'll betcha you Brits didn't miss a Lord HawHaw broadcast - it didn't make you Nazis.

National Geographic has gone downhill too. For example... Wicked Tuna is on now. Four tuna boats compete to catch most tuna. Great fish shots, bad program with canned plot. Next is "Alaska State Troopers" a cop show but in Alaska. Then is Wicked Tuna North vs South (I dunno, more canned plot, I guess). Debate the merits of the show if you will but you must agree they are unworthy of the great name of National Geographic. Trust me, Nat Geo has hit the skids. They do still do some good shit - but it gets it's ass kicked in the ratings to some show about a buncha rich hillbillies n shit.
