Last week I was standing in my front yard chatting with my neighbor, when lo and behold I spotted this little guy (well, hopefully girl) growing about 8 feet from my front door, at least several weeks old at the time. It sprouted up about where my ex-roommate Darrell would clean his bud to roll joints, but about a year after he had left, I guess it took that long to germinate. He only smoked stress, but hell, I'll take what I can get right now :-D My uncle/landlord wanted it off the property so I had to dig it up and pot it inside today and at first I thought I had killed it by how droopy it got but it's already regaining it's strength and shape. I don't have the proper lights or money to buy them yet, all I have is small coiled florescent lights designed to replace incandescent bulbs and save electricity, so those and occasional sunlight will have to suffice during the vegitation process. This picture was taken several days ago before I dug it up. wish me luck xD

Thanks! I've been keeping it inside at night and placing it in a discreet place along the side of my house in the daytime and it seems to be doing fine. My biggest concern is how long it will be before the roots outgrow the peanut jar I've planted it in. It's risky taking it outside every day so very soon I'll get a light and make a ghetto grow setup somewhere. It will be near my kitchen and to help mask the smell I'll start cooking with lots and lots of garlic :-P

I took this picture about an hour ago. Any thoughts on how long it will be until I have to transplant it into a larger container? Unfortunately the plant has to be mobile for now

It's getting too risky to take it outside every day so this weekend I'm going to hit up some garage sales and try to find an old florescent desk light or something so I can keep it inside. I'd go for something better but I have $10 to my name at the moment, heh

Also, it survived transplanting but some of the leaves are a bit droopy and I had to tie the stem to a stick for support. Is there some sort of vitamin or soil supplement that can help it regain strength? I think my friend said something about vitamin B1 helping with that, but I can't remember
