One month in on first grow

Been very happy so far with this grow. Started to do some LST and topped it yesterday. Not bad from seed to this in a month. It is an Ethos Genetics Crescendo RBx1. Let’s hope it lives up to that 30% thc content. Main stalk is near 3/4” thick already too. Advanced nutrients, RO water, chiller outside the tent with 20 gallon reservoir. 315 cmh light. Now just pondering should I clip off some of the large fan leaves?

Not trying to be mean but that plant looks like a old sailor that's been weather beaten from to many voyages out to sea. P.S. Not a expert and have no experience with hydro but something is wrong. People are gonna need details to help if you are looking for any.. Good luck!

Noticed that you are using a 315 CMH. How high above the canopy are you running it?

You're mistaken. It's very healthy. Just been tied down and trained.

OP, yes de leading is super beneficial. Especially in veg, there's no rules to it really. Just once flowering come, you don't wanna take anything off after 20days from flipping to 12/12. But I encourage you to remove leaves for sure! Get light down into that canopy a

Why are the leaves curling up on the plant? Almost looks like the leaves are shrunken.

Clever idea with the hoop screws to lst. Plant looks good, setup looks good. Nice grow mah man. Don't love it to death and thatll turn into a beast.

Very interesting lst method, as mentioned!

I trim a little at a time daily, slow and easy.
Others choose to trim the crap out of it all at once, they seem to think the plant only suffers once and then recovers.
Totally growers choice...

You got any update on that girl??

Cheers,

Tomorrow starts week 6 flower. very frosty. Think i'll be around a 1/2lb at least dry based on bud / cola count. They went insane stretch and grew nearly 40" after flip. I had to cut a hole in my tent roof. It is 6' tall now, lol. Couldn't do anything else with it lst wise. Every inch is covered.
