one light... 2 different stages

Hey y’all. I have 1 600w hps with 3 plants currently under them with 1 month flowering done and 1 to go. im doing a perpetual grow with clones then to a veg tent then to flower. i was going
to go 6 veg and 6 flower simultaneously but though “i really dont want to wait 2 months per harvest”
so i decided to kick these veg plants into flower with the others that have 1 month in. essentially have it to where every month i have a harvest of 3 plants. i understand that having 3 vs 6 plants under 600w produces roughly the same yield so my question is.......will having 3 plants with a month to go and 3 with 2 months to go affect the yield i get from the 3 i harvest each month? wish there was a way i could ask without confusing myself. it just seems like having 3 put in with ones already halfway done will steal weight from them. all input welcome

3 plants yeild.the same as 6 with same veg time etc?
The plants steal weight from.each other?
I'm confused on this logic

it is my understanding that 3 plants of the same maturity level vs 6 will yield the same under the same light. if that is true...then will 3 plants grown with 3 freshly put in evenly distribute weight amongst all 6?

to put it another way...say i routinely get 8oz from 3 plants every 2 months. now say I add 3 plants to the ones with one month into flower. in one month the 1st 3 will be harvested and the others will have 1 month to go. so will the 1st 3 still hive me 8oz?

If they veg for the same amount of time as the plants already in flower did before they went into flower then yes maybe but if they had less veg time then results in smaller plants thus smaller harvest. I think that is what your asking idk...

This question is relative to a few diff factors. No one can tell you what you will yield. That's up to your experience.
Theres no reason you wouldnt yeild the same as before as long as all other variables are the same or as close to the same as possible.
If you don't have the room and you shade out your plants then ya you'll prob yeild less. On the other side your bigger plants can shade out your smaller ones causing them to stretch.

Your yield is based on grow space not the number of plants.

If you routinely pull 8oz off 3 plants in 2 months they will continue to yield the same given the same space.

If you have space left over to fit another 3 plants than the first three aren't producing the maximum they could. If they are producing the maximum they could then you wouldn't have space for any more plants.

Say your grow space is 4x4. If you could fill that space with 1 plant or 6 plants your yield should be the same.

agreed. 6 will fit under there comfortably. especially when 3 will be one month younger and haven’t really stretched yet. but the endgame is move these 3 into flower. they are 1 month old from clone. then take clones
off of them. just when my 1st 3 are
ready to be cut those clones will be a month old and ready to be put into flower. i understand that from clone to flower the actual age will be 3 months hence probably not real large anyways

In your case with 3 plants already a month in flower they take up a certain amount of space. If they don't fill the maximum amount of space your light can cover then you are losing yield.
im told 600w covers anywhere from 4x4
to 6x6. no consensus on which is right as ive heard both. i just do t want to wait 2 months per harvest for 6. i want a harvest per month. so instead of harvest 6 every 2, I want 3 per month. essentially in my head it seems like it would be the same eventual yield hypothetically

If your first 3 plants are 1 month into flower they are done stretching. You can't clone, veg, and flower with one light. What are you using to veg and clone with?
