'One Hit Wonders'

I am curious, as to which strains, have the potential to become 'One Hit Wonders' when grown outdoors. Another way of looking at the question would be, what are the most potent outdoor strains currently in existence. And yes, I know that growing conditions make a world of difference, but a good strain seems like a good start.

Edit: If you can, rank and/or compare them to other strains which you have tried - but preferably provide a bit of information on them, such as if they were grown by you, bought from a friend, etc. so that it is easier to judge. Thanks!

I have never smoked a pure Indica, or a pure Sativa, so I don't know exactly how they differ. Though, I have a rough idea. I would say a MOSTLY Sativa high, with some Indica attributes would be ideal, although it doesn't worry me. I am looking to decide on a few strains, so I am just concerned about which ones pack the biggest punch at the moment.

ssh was the strongest I have smoked. I won a .5 gram in a poker game 4 years ago. You can find a g-13 cross of it at sannieshop.com It's called ladycane

the one hitter for me is always master kush..the lung expansion is incredible, and it hits me one toke everytime..and I toke heavily!

go with hybrids. sometimes that random seed can really show up your clones. i like growing weed thats 25% sativa. that ushally gets me the highest. depending on what kind of high you like. depending how good its grown. cured. its hard to tell the difference becuase so many plants have been crossed allready. every grower grows a different kind of weed even if its the same strain. it takes praktice. if you want a 1 hitter quiter i would grow master kush or supersilver haze. purp does great out doors.

After countless late nights, I came to the conclusion that I was going to grow Utopia Haze (but I was looking for some other strains as well), but with SSH already getting a few mentions, maybe it's the haze to grow. Master Kush sounds alright, although it does not seem 'my style'. There's something about a 'classic' strain that's highly Indica that turns me off. Weirdly enough, I probably have never smoked one! But that's just how my brain registers it haha.

Chemdog and Sour Diesel sound alright. White Widow is notorious for packing a punch, but it's so old now (in my eyes haha), that I figured there would be stronger strains around these days.

I heard White Russian was one of them (AK47 X WW).

Chocolope sounds good. I guess the fact that everyone raves on about it's exquisite taste made me somewhat doubtful of its potency. I just checked up on it, and it's apparently 100% Sativa! That's great in my eyes. It also achieved a nice place in the Cannabis Cup, yet another plus.

As for Maui Waui, I know nothing about it. The only results I get from Google are about what looks to be a low-potency Maui Waui hybrid.

jack herer...its the most decorated cannabis strain to ever grace a hemp festival..

i finally have some jack in my garden

sour d is good. 100% sativa..smells like a diesel drum

I know Jack Herer is meant to be A grade stuff, but I'm only concerned about potency at the moment. It sounds naive, and probably is, but I hate smoking, like a lot of my friends, so something that gets you extremely baked from 1-2 bowls is what I'm after.

i personally think purple strains are weak..I have gdp, purple urkel, purple kush, and i enjoy the greener bud better...oh yeah I also have purple tranwreck....but it smells mostly like trainwreck..I think the purp was temp induced

purple is overrated,people just like the look which doesn't make sense to me, you can't smoke the look

indeed...it sucks, but bag appeal is what people look for, before performance. purple has the bag appeal.

but for the real smokers...we know its all about the green frosty buds!

The one hit wonders around here are off the usually off the gravity bong lol. Usually the bud is mixed with hash also, thatll get you fu*ked. lol hope that helps.:bigjoint:

Which one of those is generally the most potent? I don't know what a lot of those acronyms stand for, by the way. I know WW is White Widow, though.
