I know that the air scubbers are the best but i wanted to know how was the gel to control smell like in a 14 /14 room with 8 ft ceilings. Im trying to save some coins but it may not be an option.

Ona should only be used as your main method of odor control if you are growing in a very small space. In larger spaces it should only be used as a secondary means of odor control OUTSIDE the room. The purchase of a proper carbon filter and inline fan, though initially expensive, will save you from a lot of awkward conversations, nosy neighbors and LE. In a 14 x 14 x 8 room, Ona is going to do as much good as lighting a stick of incense, unless you go all out and buy the 5 gallon pail with the built-in fan, but if you have the money to purchase that, you might as well pick up a CF and inline.

I have an 8'x8'x8' room in which I'm growing. It smells great in there to me, but the smell does get out of the room. When I open the jar of ona gel the smell in the adjoining room is gone within minutes...and the ona gel is in the grow area, not the adjoining room. It really does seem to remove odor in my situation. I have just switched to 12/12 so we'll see how it works when I have plants in full bloom (hopefully!).

I got the fresh linen smelling stuff because I grow near my laundry room, so if anyone notices the ona gel smell they'll attribute it to laundry products.
