Your plants look a little bit off IMO. I think they won't be happy in that clumpy soil.
exactly what i was thinking dont know whats wrong, i've just finished off my last run of pineapple chunk and never had any real trouble. they grew fast and to a good size but these one's seem to be fucked up for some reason cause there growing totally diff to last time. heres my last run at the same stage as now IMG_1489.JPG. and only thing that's diff is the light, went from a 125w cfl to a 600w led so maybe that's got something to do with it. soil is good stuff so can't see that being the prob, and if anything the medium is better now than last time

Honestly, that soil doesn't seem to have a good drainage and obviously is causing your plants to have root problems. That has nothing to do with your lighting. Your soil texture should be better than that. Vitalink Professional Enriched Soil is said to contain 40% wood fibre, 40% peat and 20% bark fines, which explains what issue you're dealing with. Wood fibre uses up all the nitrogen available in your soil in the process of decomposition, thus competing with your plants for nutrients and water while putting the pH out of balance, unless you add some extra supplements. Wood and bark are also blamed for causing root rot. Your soil may be a high quality medium, but not for growing cannabis. That's my opinion. Maybe somone else will chime in.

medium has good drainage, watering every 2 days cause by the second day the pots are bone dry. soil is no good for cannabis?? lol vitalink is one of the best growing medium's and nute range u can get for cannabis

Are you sure the soil is not too hot?
could be the case it's just been getting water with no added nute's, think it's just one of those thing's that i'm going to have to sit back and see what happens.IMG_1513.JPG IMG_1709.JPG this is from my last grow and everything went great just wish it was the same this time round lol

lol i liked the soil cause it looked better than the verve stuff from bnq and i thought it made sense to get the vitalink medium range since i was using their nutrient's. and as i said before water every two day's and the pots are feather light by the second day. and i'm not adding perlite till i re-pot
