Hey Everyone,

So this weekend we are having company and I am debatign on what to do with the plants. Where they are at now they will prolly have to be moved in order to avoid detection. They are currently 5 weeks into flower 5 plants. I really like the setup I have now and would like to avoid having to move them. If I were to leave them where they are and just turn the lights on and off throughout the day when company is here would this be a problem. In total I would prolly have to turn them off maybe 2-4hrs during their light on schedule. Is this a horrible idea?

Also if I would move them would it be a big concern if I had them in a wideopen room (no light reflection)? Or would the 400watt hps be enough light for the 5 of them that I wouldnt have to worry about light reflection? Please help

I don't think it would be a problem with the lights off. I had my light burn out on me for 36 hours during 12/12, about 45 days into flower. I went and bought a new light and had it up and running again within 36 hours. Didn't hurt the flowering one bit. I have also read that once a plant gets pretty far along during flowering, messing up the cycle WILL NOT put it back into veg. So your ladies should be okay in the dark for a little while. Congrats on your grow. Peace.

If your other option is to stick it in the room with no reflection then DO THAT. the HPS will still provide plenty of light to keep the plants running. I wouldnt mess with their light cycle if I didnt have to

I agree....it takes several days to alter flowering mode in either direction.
