Yeah so I have a PH problem for sure. I have the tester kit that comes with the vile and dropper with solution in order to see the PH level. In addressing the PH problem im applying the tetra easy balance to lower the PH im getting nothing. The directions state to use one cap for 10 gallons I did just that because I have a 10 gallon snapware res. I waited 15 mins tested again same color. So I ate waited another 15 mins nothing again. I added a half of a cap to see if the PH would budge nothing again. So I dont know what to do.

I took a sample of the water and applied a small drop of the easy balance in the vile and the color instantly changed.

Has anyone used this product? if so how did you get it to work?

I am having problems keeping my ph down with my grow. Not sure if I would use an aquarium ph reducer, one website listed the active ingredient in that easy balance stuff being formaldehyde. I do know acids are low numbers on the PH scale. Phosphoric acid would work, but pure stuff would be overkill. I have some stuff I picked up at a local hydro store that claims to be 30% phosphoric, but on the side claims to test at at least 14%. It seems to be ok, but it’s this horrible tug o war to get the ph where I want it to be.

so I took that trash back and picked up a different brand which is stated to be ph down. My water must be pretty bad because the stuff worked but bounce right back 30mins later so I applied it again.

Should I get a filter to filtrate the water? because this is ridiculous?

Yes, a regular RO filter will work. I have 2 18 gallon dwc tubs and an ordinary drinking water purifier will work but takes more time. You could try the kind you hook up to your faucet it should help with the ph and their not more than 25.00. Good luck

Yo, just grab GH's pH Up/Down package. It comes with testing solution. Works like a charm.
