does anyone have any or know anyone who has had some experience with the omega garden 10001? and if so what's the average yield? and does the plants lack of height affect the bud in any way? and is the rotation speed (full rotation every 50 minutes) not suitable for cannabis?

what do you guys think of it if you ignore the brutal price?

There is another thread on this with a lot of posts. I would search for it and I bet you will find some answers. I can't remember if its in general or newbie central. One of them I think.

So far so good, I put 100 clones in to do a tester, even though it holds 300. And i let them veg for two weeks and they have been in the flowering stage for two weeks and they have nice buds on them already. This system is sweet, I keep the room at a cool 70 degrees with a digital freestanding ac and run the exhaust from the light tube right into the attic through the ceiling. This system is also very nice because i can leave for days at a time and i know that everything is going good, all on digital timers. The water pump comes on and the plants are watered once a day and thats all the is to it. I cant wait to see the outcome and if all goes well, im gonna load that baby up on the next crop:clap::clap::clap:

Sounds very nice Puna, But did you realize that you posted your first post ever to a thread that is almost a year old. Get some photos and post them. Would love to see your set up. You might think about starting a new thread though. Like maybe a journal or something.

HOLY SHIT!!!! You paid 2,000 for that carnival ride?
Myself, I think it is a terrible design for growing buds. When a plant hits about week 6-7. Buds start to get so large that you need to tie them up some how. I do not see an easy way with that thing spinning around and around.

I hope you see this!! Puna, I have been on the search for anyone with experience the Omega Gardens and more specifically the Volksgarden longer than I can even remember. I have contacted countless people who have owned, known someone who owned, hated, and loved Omegas. I have talked to them all. I have gone to them for information and pictures to which none of them have supplied me. They all seemed to "beat-around-the-bush" so to speak. So I am hoping you find this post and can reply to me. I just want your thoughts on your Omega, and even more, pictures. You posted in September that you were two weeks into a grow so you should have had a harvest under your belt with the Omega and I would love to hear about it. You can post on this same thread and I will check it often, or you are more than welcome to private message me. Thank you so much and hope to hear from you soon.

You say you have the 10001, at least you have the omega that will work, not the embarassment of a volksgarbage....Wow JUNK
two weeks of veg may be too much, depends on strain.
What are you grow'n?
watch the set screw on the motor / shaft as it will work loose.
I think you will very upset to lose 100+ plants because you left it alone for days. you MUST check it daily, as a simple glitch can burn up you crop in a hurry. These machines are for hobbists that love to tinker and play to grow.
Do not believe the huge crop claims... it can be done .........but expect failure
Also if your room is hot open the ballast doors to cool as prone to overheat and pop your capasitors or ballasts.
If you make it work and run it more than a year you may set a record, most omega owners mothball their machines after poor results or failure.

Hope ya didn't spent too much$$
