I thought the exact thing & got burned (poor babies).
You will have excessive heat - plan now to combat it.

Hi Camp Hat.... agreed, expect some heat. At least some cooled reflectors for peace of mind, seeing as you will use extraction anyhow. All the best with this run, you will find a lot of solid advice here on RIU so I am certain you will get epic results. Pulling up a chair

There is nothing that gives a return on investment better than more light on weed.

Buy yourself a 600 and you will get your investment back first cycle. 1000 if you can deal w/the heat.

My lights are on their way.

Here's an update.

These are my five best plants. They are about eighteen days old. I think they're small for their age, how about you ?

See if you can guess why I named one of them "Nuts."

This was 15 days for me. Next one is 50 days. Cfl's

Couldn't resist. One small bud, fell off. Took a week to dry. Whoa.....point43 g.

More light! 18/6 maybe 20/4. Careful on the water. I found that if I think they need water, wait till the next day. When you get the big lights don't cook'em.

Get the CFLs as close as possible 5cm, 2"" your side of the fence. Reflectors help, I used a foil turkey pan. Necessity is the mother of invention.

My CFLs are very close. Ha ! F oil turkey pan. That was my wife's idea.

At the least, get Ed Rosenthal's 'Marijuana Growers' Handbook'. It's more info than anyone needs but it'll help a ton in grasping the essentials and avoiding common pitfalls.

I still fall back on my grow bible have purchased three so far gifted them to new growers

Damn I hate that book. More misinformation and total BS in there than all of the internet combined. No, just stick to advice from solid growers on this site.
