.... I am seriously considering the Kessils based on reputation and customer service, but I want to know a real users experiences ...anyone using the 350's or 150's and if so what color ? pics? thanx

Sure, there is Google; spare me; I can't ask/answer Google in a back-n-forth, so plz don't bother posting if all the fuck you can do is reference a fuck'n search engine...isn't it quicker just not to bother even posting?

I'm using four Kessil H350 magentas on a spinner. I started with one 350 and kept adding as the plants kept growing and I kept smiling. I've also built a couple of small diy fixtures which I add to the spinner in the other two places as I change from veg to bloom. I've got a blue fixture, deep reds and white. I start with blue and white and as I get into bloom take off the blue and add deep red. I've used the Kessils for several grows now and they work reliably and well. I do shoot them with an aircan in between grows to clean out the canisters and keep the fans clean/flowing. At this point, I wouldn't pay full retail for them but would keep an eye on e-bay for used and growershouse.com may have good prices. I think at this point, if I were buying new that I would be looking at A51 since it's newer tech....and LEDs just keep getting better but I have been happy with the Kessils and the spinner and they'll be staying in my grow room for the forseeable future.

^^^ that was what I was looking for...Brand new 150's have dropped a lot...saw a Magenta for under $150 .... I thought a new 350 was easily under $300 (I think, don't feel like looking but it is cheap) .... I got a 4x4 for bloom & a 3x2 for clones, autos, veg .... I'm trying to outfitting LED's in either or both as I'm sick of dealing with the heat .... I can't won't flip my grow into $$ so its all outta pocket....trying to keep cost under or about $500 for the 4x4 and about 200ish for the 3x2

so far ( I have NOT grown many plants using nothing but the kessils) it seems like plants take longer to finish under the magenta h350. Also I dont see anything spectacular. It seems like they can help your plants going purple, and maybe increase resin production when used as side lighting. I would go with a A51 sgs-160 before buying another kessil. I wont buy anymore kessils unless i get them for super cheap on ebay.

What wavelength are those Kessils? Anyone know?
The Kessils have a custom spectrum "dense matrix" (small multichip with optic piece, like a 1W package sort of) done by a company named DiCon. I don't know the exact ratio, but bet on your usual suspects (440nm, 470nm, 630nm, 660nm, 730nm). They don't use White for their land plant spot lights, it's all narrow band, afaik.

The H150 is like 35W of light, iirc. The H350 is like 85W or something. For what they are I think they are really cool. I basically consider them self cooled 40 and 90 Watt versions of an Illumitex array, which is something I think I could get behind. They are just way too much money for the amount of light you get, imo.

dont waste your money. i did a comparison using a h350 magenta against a blackstar chrome 180. there about the same price and close in watts. the chrome tore up the kessil. i threw the kessil on ebay and bought another chrome

good to know, did you document this grow? I think plants simply need more than the one spectrum, ... id be curious to see the spinner in action but the spectrum would still never be well blended anyway. I have a plant in the corner of my room grown mostly under the kessil, depending what she looks like when i chop her i might sell my kessils as well...

used a 35 watt model or whatever the 150 wattage is.. 5 grams from a auto plant... there complete shit, and overpriced.

they do have great design, looks like money to design a nice package, but complete shit in real world.. not sure if it's the heat that kills it or what the problem is as cobbs are very popular these days, but they are overpriced junk. I think they need to get a group of growers in there projects

i did not do a journal. i have no time to document stuff. i guess your going to have to take my word for it or learn for yourself. i have used hydro grow, grow godess, spectra, kessil, houyi, and i am currently experimenting with a high bay 2OO watt led light thats using a cree 2700k. so far bang for the buck the chrome is the winner

I have never been impressed with my blackstar240 but the chromes have some blues in them and they might actually do much better than the older BS. I think I might use my Kessils as headlamp for my sleigh, they might be better than rudolph's nose.

I am using Kessil lights. Now my space is really small.
Veg cab is 2ft x 2ft x 3ft high, I have 2 kessil 150 one "purple" and one "blue". In general massive growth, seedlings NEED to be 18"from light or will stretch. Otherwise my veg cab is usually completely overgrown.
Flower cab is 2ft x 2ft x 5ft. I run 3 kessil 150s a "purple" a "magenta" and one "red". I also have a 15watt t5 "lizard" bulb to kick in a little uv. Here are a few pics.

I run 2 Magenta 150s for flowering and they seem fine, definitely better than CFL for sure but I can't compare against another LED. I think they are great for small grows which is why I chose them. The 150s are 90 bucks now at growers house.
