ok to mix nutes before adding to res??

Im vegging my little ones right now, and was wondering if it is ok to mix the advanced a and b nutes, compost tea, hygrozime, and liquid karma all together before i put it in the res? It would make it easier to do it that way, but being that they are all super concentrated, i dont want them to react with each other, producing undesirable byproducts that could hurt the plants!

Yes I would mix before, then if you have a meter check the PPM's and the PH and can adjust it before trying to correct it in the res.

I know with General Hydroponics they recommend you add directly to the water. They also say to add the MICRO first, then add the BLOW / GROW. To help get the prefect PPM I typically make a "roo". I fill my res up without 1 gallon of water. I then mix all the nutes using that 1 gallon left-over and include as much as needed to meet my PPM.

This way your not directly mixing the salts together. I have read that is not good.

DO NOT premix different nutes. they react to each others and things change.

yeah definately don't mix together, it creates salt residue if you mix them straight

why do you think they come in 2 parts?

read in my canna mag about my coco nutes that (for coco anyway and anything else that comes in two parts i guess) if they come as just one part they aren't that good, could be canna trying to put down any other companies that do this but it makes sense
