Ok,
So the jist of this thread is going to be kinda confusing...
Not first time grower, grew hydro in Canada which was always nice. Always grew 18/6 and then at the right moment switched to 12/12. However I've switched lives and moved to Africa. The herb blows serious chunks here, even though she's $10/OZ. Decided to grow Cdn buds here. And here starts the story, to be completed with pictures weekly.
In Africa I'm close to the equator. Sun is up at 5:30am and sets at 6pm. 12.5hrs close enough to 12/12...
However the space is not limited, and the sun is about 1,000,000watts here... 42 degrees and dry as hell in a drought. I water the little guy(for now) 4 times a day, well the maid does 2 times... And it is turning out pretty decent so far.
My questions come to play then, how will this little experiment with a humble Hindu Kush seed play out.
Good news is that she is a female(she just got her first pair of stamen). I bought regular seeds as I hate messin with genes.
I'm already 1.5months into it and she just popped out the first stamen. I didn't want to post til I was sure she was gonna make me proud(didnt want to have to up root the dude and start over in the middle of the experiment lol).
As I've never grown outdoors before, but conditions and topping times are gonna be a debatable topic. Not nutrients, all natural(none available hahaha).
Hope u guys n girls r able to get a lift off this little experiment in the wild of Africa.
Oh ya. The code for the pics is simple 0.05A means half week old. 0.1A means 1 week old. and so on. 1.0 means one month and so on. I think it's simple.
