:leaf:ok i dnt no wut im doin so tell me wut 2 do ima put foil in side the lil space:leaf:
First thing you should do...forget about putting foil in your grow space.

Paint it white or cover it in mylar and try not wrinkle it setting it up. Foil creates hotspots and will burn or damage your plants.

You should also check out the Grow FAQ at the top of the page for a wealth of information.

Wut up man, well first of all I think you have the wrong cfl for veg, but I am not sure in the 2 pics showing the liights it looks like one is daylight 6500k and the other is soft white 2700k. what is the color of the light your using, is it whitish/bluish or red/orange?

I reccomend putting you light at least 2-3 inches away from you plant unless you have a fan running on it then you can put it 1 inch away. Also do you want fast grow th or slow? If you want faster growth run the light 24/0 if regular run it at 18/6. The only problem with 24/0 is the roots won't develope as quich as with 18/6.

Like someone else said foil is a no go and emergency blankets at wal-mart a plus.

I also recomend buying at least 4 cfls at 26 watts.

looks fine to me, the closer the light the less stretched it will grow. You can use Foil all you want with CFL lights, its not intense enough light to burn anything. Stay away from foil when using 600 Watt and greater HID lights. Be patient and do not over water, also no fertilizer for at least 4 weeks.

THANK YOU!!! I've been waiting for someone to say it! My whole grow space only gets to 91 degrees and I keep my house at 70 degrees. There's no way a CFL can create a hot spot from foil if it can hardly burn the plant being 4 inches away from the plant.

the color of the lite is like orange red wut kind of color should i b 4 veg an flowering
Use day light bulbs (bright blue/white) for veg and soft white (red/orange) for flowering. Oh, and you should probably use at least a 100W or CFL equivalent per plant.

Put your light 1 inch above you plant with a fan runnin on it and you should have good growth, and keep the lights on 24/0
