ok sorry if i dont give enough info ,but what would cause a week old sprout to almost like dry out and die. one day it seemed heathy as could be the next day it was like a dryed srimp. any info would help greatly.

what changed, did you water it or did the soil go dry? are your lights too close? did you use nutes? what changed?

only thing that i know that could have changed is that the soil has gotten a lil over dry about the first inch, thats about the only thing that changed .

You need to keep a close eye on those new sprouts. Sounds like your lights were drying them out too fast.

ok i will thanks so if i notice dryness again move lights up im using cfl's

with cfls you want to start them about 4-5 inches from the bulb, and slowly move it closer

yea to much heat from the bulb. do you have good air circulation? or is your grow room in a small box? happened to me a few years back, the plant was a little under a foot tall, and it wilted up to a crispy tube
