what kind of light are you using indoors? If its small light like CFLS then no i would not do it....the sun is so powerful that if you start off indoors and put it outside in hot sun you can bake your plant. Most people (me included) start outdoor plants inside...then we acclimate them into the suns full power....to do what you want is simply a wast of effort.
You can put it outside but if you do, be careful about bringing bugs back inside with your plant. You might wanna spray a product that has neem in it just to be safe. Putting them outside is beneficial and will not bake the plants unless you leave them in direct sunlight for to long. Better to put them out first thing in the morning and then have them back inside by noon. This way you get the not so hot part of the day.
i would say yea i had a plant i cfl'd then stuck outside but to each his own jus make sure u dont track pest from outdoors indoors cuz thats the real problem with wat ure trying to do,,,,,bless
i moved my plant from inside to outside and i introduced it by putting half in the light and half in the shade and as time went on it was completely in the sun. i did it in the afternoon after the main heat. i left it there and with the morning light too it i was successful in not burning it

he stated only for a couple hours a day......is it worth all the trouble and possible problems that can occur? not IMO....all the risk of someone seeing it, bugs, burning.....not worth it for such a small period of time......NOW if you brought it out in morning & in by noon like the other poster said.....it can work but still to much risk
