Oh! Zone (Chemo X OG Kush) Greenthumb Seeds- Trying to beat my record

Hello,
I will be trying Dr Greenthumb's Oh! Zone this time around and this could possibly be his biggest yielder, with superb potency. According to Doc he believes this to be, one of, if not the, best combo of Yield and Potency on the planet. The genetics would suggest the possibilities of something really special (Chemo X OG Kush) and I'm a firm believer in what Doc tells me so I expect really good things. In the strain profile on Doc's site it says Oh Zone will have some individuals that will be extremely potent and he urges caution with these. I have a high tolerance but i can imagine some new smokers could be in for quite a shock if they ran into one of these phenos....
Anyway, I hope i get one like that.

I've germinated 3 seeds and will end up picking one of them to go into a 10 gallon pot and hopefully, I will be able to beat my own personal best of 31.5 oz's from 1 plant.

I will once again be using Promix BX with Jacks Classic Nutrients.
Flowered under 1800 watts of HPS and MH light..

Here we go......

Subbed. I contacted Dr Greenthumb about his Chemdawg x g13 after reading your log. He recommended this strain as he probably won't have any of the Chem x g13 for months. Didn't get any of them yet but real interested to see how this strain compares. Mostly was astonished by the 2 pounds and about 21% thc you had from your Chemdawg x g13.

Interested to see how they grow out for you.

Thanks!
Im very interested to see how these come out as well. Doc is very impressed by this strain and he highly recommended it to me. It sounds like this could turn out bigger and stronger then the Chem x g13.....

Yea after he recommended this to me, I tried finding some good grow logs of it and or reviews. The only review that I could locate of the Oh! Zone showed it coming in at about 13% THC but it also noted in the review that most of the trichomes were milky white and potentially harvested early on purpose due to the knock out potential of the genetics.

This is the review: http://www.kindreviews.com/04/oh-zone-the-herbal-cure/

Glad that your growing this one out now as to compare with that review and your Chemdawg x G13 grow.

There is a journal on THC farmer that is amazing. I believe its called "dankworths tiny head". Strange name but you will understand as soon as you see the pics.

Damn the title does indeed make a ton of sense after the picture....

I feel like there is so many inside jokes going on in the thread that I didn't understand a great percentage of the back and forth banter but the few pictures made me drool to kingdom come. Can't wait to see how it turns out in soil for you as those buds seem to be DWC induced phatness.

Dankworth talks about the chemo genetic pool performing really optimal under a specific spectrum in the thread a few different times. Have you heard anything more about this in any other threads you've encountered or have you taken this into account for your grow besides the normal wattage and bulb selection? :eyesmoke:

Do you ever grow anything other than DR Green thumbs?

It would be nice to see how you make out with another breeder!

What I took from that is to use both MH and HPS and thats when I started using both. Doc sold me on it as well. I haven't heard anything else on that subject. I'm sure he has it way more dialed in then I do and I had planned to go back and look at his other threads but i keep forgetting.
