Oh God please help me I think I'm in over my head. I just started growing and I've got 10 or more plants in a small grow closet with a 2000 watt

Somebody please help me I think I'm in over my head I have 10 plants or so in a 6-foot grow closet with a 2000 watt LED light. Can anyone help guide me the right way

Sounds like fun. Enjoy and let the plants do their thing! You may have to alter the height of your lamp depending on if your light is for 2 ft from canopy vs 5 ft from canopy, a shower rod is an excellent way to make the light adjustable.

Boy autocorrect really messed that one up. The pine shavings help eat up the excess nitrogen that the Miracle Grow potting soil makes or has in it

Thanks for your comment I have an adjustable system I just didn't realize how much more the plants grew in their flowering cycle as far as grow upwards I mean

I keep breaking them off when I try to bend them instead of being careful. I am trying to curb growth upward.

I get rid of the smell of mine I vent it down into my register along with a carbon filter that it goes through first

If you "top" your plants it will help keep them lower and fill out more, sounds like you are figuring it out. I have heard of people binding the main stem so it grows sideways? This seems like a cool tactic.

Pinching the main stem of the plant to the point it falls over is called "super cropping", for your information.

How I do it is with my index finger and thumb, pinch the main stem. Then I roll my fingers back and forth slightly, slowly increasing the pressure until the stem falls over by itself. Sometimes it'll just stay there, sometimes I have to tie it up so it doesn't fall too low. Sometimes I break the stem and have to apply electrical tape.

Strength, and to reduce excessive moisture evaporation from the broken joint to prevent the top of the broken stem from dying off.

I dont use anything to cover any wounds from supercropping. The main thing, imo, is being gentle and patient when squeezing and bending....kinda like you already said ha. I wonder if anyone uses parafilm for covering up wounds or for repairing accidents. Seems like it would be perrrrrfect. *edit* i do support the branch to itself to keep it from bending right back with soft ties

The repair material just needs to splint the break temporarily.
I've seen paper tape used, and when I broke a branch on this run I used packing tape - why? It was close at hand. The branch never missed a beat!

Lol, sorry but everything looks super neat and under control, dont know what you on about mate, good job, keep going, and dont try to top now or do any stressful training since youre in flower already, you might want to look into getting a trellis set up there though. cheers.

You went wrong direction with medium choice but plants seem fine. What is it that you think you need guidance in?
