Oh damn...

Long story short, I have 2 plants in a 3x2x5 tent under a 1000w HPS. The light has a digital ballast that is set at 50% capacity (the lowest it can go.) The tent is around 85 - 90 degrees and the leaves are shaping into the letter U and are becoming crispy.

I have a 5x5x7 tent coming Wednesday of next week and need some help on how I should handle the plants until then. This is my first grow and fear that I may be doing some serious damage to my plants if I don't treat them soon.

The plants have just finished vegging and have began flowering this past week. I have been feeding them a mixture of Jack's (20 N-P-K) at 1000PPM/5.5pH the past week and plan to start feeding them Jack's Bloom Booster at 800PPM/5.5pH next week.

So how can I help the plant and prevent it from frying up before Wednesday? Any help is appreciated and if you are curious to anything else, ask away. Thanks everyone in advance.

also 85-90 sounds high for indoor.getting it down like 70-80 can help ur plants.

but as ı said wait for some experienced growers reply.

i would say heat for sure get some fans ect ect somethin else to look into are shifting ph levels will make them twist a bit maybe even a nitrogen claw goin on in there if its not heat or ph i would guess nitrogen but over all i think heat if they are crispy... and nitrogen as a last resort i see some leafs curling up in a claw form this normally claws down but i have had a few plants do it and curl up so all in all move lights away a bit better ventilation or more ventilation tip on ventilation ive noticed that the more fresh air u can get in there during flower the better the bud growth and density i installed a few extra fans and intakes for more air flow and first grow i got 8 oz and after the upgrades next grow clones from same plants with the same lights ect ect same number of plants got 12oz could be a fluke but so far with this experiment ive got good results

Honestly it looks as though your plant is curling its leaves up and in around the outside of the leave, its doing this to hold in moisture i.e. heat stress. Notice how it seems to just be the upper leaves effected. My plants start curling like that at 85. I would definitely get those temps down.

I think it gets hotter than that in there maybe 100. Untill the new larger tent comes you may have to put in a fluro or something a lot smaller than the big gun 1000w. Also i think the plants are too close to light.

I've raised the light as high as I possible can and have managed to get the tent to 82 degrees. One plant is recovering slightly but the other is fading quick. Again, I have a 5x5 tent coming Wednesday but I am worried that it will be too late by then. What do you guys think; is this plant past the point of no return or what can I do to save it?

P.S. - I have just started giving the plants Jack's Bloom Booster (800PPM/5.4pH) 2 days ago and am feeding them when the soil is dry and cracked on top.

get some air circulating in there ASAP if temps exceed 94 consider them dead ??? plants are curling up there wanting water i would suggest just foilage watering plant leafs lights out every day hammer them good also i might add getting a few wet sponges to help bring up the humidity prob you are running really low try to get humidity to 60 +

and lower your ppm and keep soil really moist cause there goin to be takin more to compensate for the heat
