hey guys, my babies are about 10 days old but this one has some dots on it i hope it’s not mites already any ideas ?
Can't really tell from the pics, could just be doing some weird seedling shit that it will grow out of.

Check for bugs on the underside of the leaves, there are only 6 so they shouldn't be too hard to spot.

what a forum! thanks for the reply.

around 0.65 cups per 5 gallon pot and 0.5 cups diatomaceous earth . tap water (am in costa rica) babies are 10 days old from seed - when do you think the first top dress should be ?

cheers

I'd wait couple weeks, that Gaia Green seems to be some potent stuff. Don't need much of it. I don't remember what I added to my 10 gallon pots, think it was 6 tablespoons (.375 cups) but I'm reusing the soil, and even that has my plants near Nitrogen toxicity.

You shouldn't need to top dress or awhile. The plants need to use up some of what you put in the soil already. I wouldn't top dress until they are at least a foot tall or more.

I feel like I over did it with my soil (I reamended used soil), I dropped the Gaia 4-4-4 in there to cook for 3 weeks and after repotting (the seedlings) I dropped a couple more tablespoons of the Gaia. I'm for sure not adding anything till I flip (probably 3 week from now) They were already getting super green from the bagged soil (in the party cups) on it's own, so yes, a lot in them bagged soils to begin with. Here's what's in the Gaia Green 4-4-4

Feather meal, alfalfa meal, bone meal, blood meal, glacial rock dust, natural rock phosphate, fishbone meal, mineralized phosphate, potassium sulphate, insect frass, basalt rock dust, humic acid, gypsum, kelp meal, oyster shell flour, greensand.

Have no clue. I just grabbed the Exhale bag for the days I'm not poking my head in the tent. Like this weekend. Was out for 4 days. Shit hope the ladies are ok.

I haven't been here in a while, but I've been growing with Gaia Green mixed into my soil, along with earthworm castings and a touch of kelp. I mixed at the recommended rations, but for a gallon, I used a one-gallon plant pot, which is a bit less than a gallon. The soil was a bit strong and I only top dressed it halfway through veg. Two weeks ago, I started flowering the plants and topped the grow bags with more of my Gaia Green soil mix because the levels dropped a bit. The plants look great!

The three far plants are all Dr. Greenthumb's Turkish Cookies.
The front-left plant is Hubmoldt Seed Company's Humboldt Dream.
The other two are Dr. Greenthumb's Chemdawg.

Lol, sorry. Those are ten gallon grow bags. My point was that instead of mixing in the Gaia Green at 3 TBSP per US gallon, I mixed at 3 TBPS per one-gallon-plant-pot, which is around three quarters of a gallon. In the beginning, there were symptoms of overfeeding because of this, so I had to be careful going forward after that. Next time I grow, I'm going to mix at 3 TBPS to a proper US gallon.

The plants are bigger in front of me than they look in the pic, the far one in the back corner is over 40" above the soil.

Got it... I'm in 10 gallon pots too and no, we're not using the full ten... 3 tablespoons....that's a lot of Gaia Green. Think I only used 4 tablespoons for the entire pot. The pots are on the 2nd grow though, so far so good. They don't look as good as yours so maybe I should drop some more Gaia.

the 3 TBSP per gallon medium is when you are amending fresh soil. 1 TBSP per gallon is topdress...
