What could go wrong?
The news said something about replacing officers with community members. It'll be the same. Give any group that kind of power and it'll get to their heads.. just my opinion though. Like the Stanford prison experiment.

Stanford Prison Experiment, a social psychology study in which college students became prisoners or guards in a simulated prison environment. The experiment, funded by the U.S. Office of Naval Research, took place at Stanford University in August 1971. It was intended to measure the effect of role-playing, labeling, and social expectations on behaviour over a period of two weeks. However, mistreatment of prisoners escalated so alarmingly that principal investigator Philip G. Zimbardo terminated the experiment after only six days.

One thing I’m liking about all of this right now is that racist assholes are openly exposing themselves.

On my city’s “locals only” Facebook page, you have these old lady Karen’s saying some seriously foul, racist shit.

Then next to their name you see “owner at jessi sues bakery”. Well guess the fuck what jessi sue? I’ll get my muffins elsewhere. Ya bish.
Every time I read this my mind hyperextends to “Why did she sue the bakery?”

Florida police organization offers to hire cops who were fired or resigned over police misconduct

As the cries for police reform grow louder across the nation, some police departments are holding their officers accountable, firing or suspending those accused of excessive force during recent protests.
One Florida police organization has said it will re-hire those very officers accused of misconduct, and that offer is prompting outrage.
On Saturday, the Brevard County chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police posted a message on Facebook addressed to the "Buffalo 57" and "Atlanta 6," saying that it was "hiring."

Good guy becomes a cop. Wants to do his best for the community he serves. Tries his best to interact and get to know members of the community. He’s spit on an called a racist, fascist pig.
a few years later he’s out there in that same community rejected and disgruntled.
good luck dealing with that cop for the next 20 years. You want cops to be perfect. They’re not. They’re human beings, just like you.
Stop spending so much time judging others. Have a look at yourselves once in a while.
This from the same people who sit home and insult the most powerful man on the planet. Listen, HE’S THE MOST POWERFUL MAN ON THE PLANET. Compare yourself to that an just know you’re comparing yourself to THE MOST POWERFUL Man ON THE PLANET.
