Odor.

Should i worry about odor control during seedling and vegitation stages or just during flowering when she's growing buds?

I run my carbon filter 24/7 365 days a year before there will be odor at all times but its will be most intense during flowering

My plants start to smell around fifteen to twenty days into veg...from there it just gets worse and worse..i lived in horrible fear till i got my carbon filter. .
I have a four and a half by five foot room..i use a 300com max fan and a thirty pound filter..fan sits above my.light and out the wall to the filter..its amazing..i feel like even a dead body wouldn't penetrate..not that id ever have one in there but have you ever smelt super skunk in full bloom. Twenty plants no filtration..total nightmare..one.could.smell the whole house up.

Carbon filters are well worth the cost for the peace of mind they provide, that being said unless you got a field of dreams in your garage odor is not usually a big deal during veg. Some smell more than others but it usually ain't rank.

You can find it online, but you might like to try and find a place that distributes it closer to you because shipping costs just piss me off.

You can usually find Ona Gel in most hydroponic stores. It is a deodorizer with a fresh scent. It works quite well.

Normally your plants shouldn't start to smell until you start flowering. But some strains have such a powerful smell during its whole life cycle. Power Plant comes to mind.

I would suggest using a combination of carbon filter and ona gel. Better safe than sorry.

i'm on week 3 of flowering and theres no smell coming out of the room. the buds smells good but not really a noticeable smell in the air yet

sounds good, thx for info. im making my own carbon filter using a car air filter, and carbon filter sticks for aquairums. some duct and jb weld and i should be good. beats paying $100+ for active carbon filters. theres a thread started somewhere for it. shows you how to make it.
