No one hu? If anyone has used or heard anything about these please post a reply...They have a video on there web site on how to assemble there product, and it looks pretty easy to DIY, and make one, if you can find the carbon fabric that they use...

ive heard about them, they work great for covering up stinky weed - which means i need one bad. my plants are in day 24 and they have gotten significantly bigger and significantly stinkier than they were a few days ago. i saw a cheap one on HTGSupply for either 39 or 50 bucks

I will check HtG out. Have you seen one in use before? I just wonder how well they really work to help with odor, and do they drag down your fan more then a standard carbon filter...?

LOL, yeah I am on that page right now...Thanks, for the link. The Odor sok is a little different though...It does not have activated charcoal per say, but it has a filter that is made up of a carbon substance. I will get a link to there home page up on this thread.

i use one for one of my vents but i also use a regular carbon scrubber for the main exhaust - works fine for me.

Do you think they are worth the money, or, should I think about making one? I have not had my hands on one, but they look simple in design...

you could try making one. i already had budgeted a substantial amount to odor control so i never investigated it. Though i've seen a few DIY odor control ideas on this site.

Yeah I am at the limit of a budget right now, and I think I may try and find some materials to make something as close to the Odor Sok as I can.. Or if I can just wait 3 more weeks, I can go pick a few up at the local shop. My big carbon filter is not doing the job anymore, is there a way to revive 80lb carbon filters!?

Killer, that is the experience I was hoping to hear about! Hey Trapper, will you let me know how they do after you toss them into the dryer? I will be very interested to know the results....

no problem, but it is still effective right now as the air sucked out through the odor sox and expelled outside does not have a scent, but there is smell inside im thinking i should of got a bigger extraction fan,but the odor sox has worked flawless.

Hey LB, thanks for the idea's. Yeah, I think the odor sok has it beat though. that is if you have room for the larger size of it. There is already a pre-filter on the Sok, and it has alot more surface area....If there is something I am missing here let me know...Thanks
