Odor issue - weird

Up front, I have in line carbon fan on order. I grow in a tent of sorts inside my office in my house. Exhaust goes right into that room. Odor at mid veg was getting big. Got some Ono and those deodorants you put in your home vents. Odor in the room is gone. Odor in the hallway my office enters from is gone. But in my bedroom, which borders the office on one side, at random times the odor is there and that doesn't make the mrs happy. I figure it must be traveling through the intakes in the rooms that are connected. But if it doesn't smell in the room with the grow, and the intake from that room has a deodorizer on it, then why would the smell travel to another room.

Best answer gets a load of good karma!

I had this problem too,bit of back ground on my grow.

i run a small tent under my stairs and every morning i got up to an over powering fern smell which i got used too but hit me hard every time i re-entered the house.
I too couldn't understand it because i run a super silent strong fan and an oversize carbon filter,no smell in the tent area or where my exhaust vents out...

anyway after some help on here i found my cheap ass carbon filter wasn't coping with my inline and i had to upgrade my carbon filter in the end.

you need to check your CFM from your inline and use a good filter that will move the air/smell at the right speed and pace.
its kinda like pouring a lot of water down the sink when its blocked,it will move very slowly and start to back up.

check out Rhino pro filters they are compacted very light compared to cheap poorly made ones.
