As long as i keep the bulbs around a inch from the plants i should be kosher...but i will also monitor them very closely

How much did you spend on your bulbs?

I do filter ducting out to fan outside of tent....

Bgmike...will NOT run a air cooled light...SO all im doing is letting the inline fan pull or push my grow tent air into the filter and out of the tent right ?

Thinking of adding veg room. You think 2 2x 4 t8 fixtures would do well. I forget how many bulbs . Maybe 8 per fixture.

Would I get good node spacing? I can lower them right on top

Yes. Pulling is most efficient. You want to pull the air out and have passive intake right??

If so then go filter duct fan.
You really don't have to put the fan outside. Whatever. But putting the fan last is most efficient. So it depends on fan size so you have negative pressure

You ever fuck wit @RM3 ? That's the man to talk to about them long bulbs. But he'll ya but beyond that all I know is you gotta stay on top of them and you are going to have problem with penetration on bigger plants. I'm ordering a smaller cob set up from parts bout 180$ it'll do like 2.5-3sqft enough to mother my Black Jesup OG and grow an pink diesel x amnesia auto at the moment for my veg closet. And then I have some reg led bulbs for the small clones and seedlings

Just bought a LASKO WIND MACHINE FAN...that mother puts out some serious air even on the #1 setting...so in THEORY i could always place that fan near my passive vent on the tent....if i needed to

Oh OK you through me off when you said cfl and led watch how close you have those to the plant I start out at 10" or so with seedlings. Do you have the lense aka plastic top on? If not pop them off carefully get some socket to Plug adapters throw them all on power strips and you got a cheap did led light bank
