ODOR CONTROL IN CLOSED ROOM

Hello i finished first grow at 4x4 tent got yielded 500g and it was amazing product so i started to second grow. Thank u all again for helps from this forum.
But at first grow i had to harvest early because of odor problems while late ripening. Odor spreaded all over the apartment dominantly.
I need to solve odor this time.

I have 4x4 tent with 600w HPS and 200 actual w led together and 4 super lemon haze feminised strains.
At first grow i used S&P TD 350/125 (330m3/h / 195CFM) exhaust fan, passive intake ( tent always seem negative pressured)
and 467 m3/h / 275CFM carbon scrubber (not wellknown brand)

I m thinking to buy and use 440 CFM inline fan and Can Lite1000 590CFM carbon scrubber this time for inside tent . And i will add my old 195cfm scrubber to outside of tent (if bigger scbrubber means less odor i can buy 1000cfm scrubber too need advices )
Can these new carbon and fan help to solve my odor problem? And growers at forums always says 440Cfm fan at half speed better than 200 Cfm fan at full speed, i also didnt understand how it help to odor control.
Another problem is i always change the air in the closed room. If i give exhaust fan air to outside from window there is another neighbour just 2meter close to my window.
Exhaust fan is pulling air from tent into room and pull again air from room into tent. I gave fresh air to roots only with airdomes and small pump it pull air from outside under the door.
Thank you for advices and info.

Pretty tough when exhausting into a small room. Even a big filter will leak some odor, especially if humidity is high. That little bit of odor can accumulate.
I had the same issue and started venting outside to get rid of it. Some here have set up a dual stage exhaust setup that sounds like it works.

If you wanted to get it outdoors, you could get a window vent meant for an in room ac and plumb your exhaust to that.

You could run carbon filters in the room, recirculating as scrubbers. Another option is to place an AirROS unit in there.

The slower the fan is running the longer the contact time of air on carbon and the better it cleans.

Best advice apart from venting outside is to use a good quality filter as your main filter in the tent and use your existing filter run lower speed scrubbing the room air .

50db is a lot louder than 30db, maybe look at using a speed controller on the 50db fan.
But I feel you main issue is not your fan but your no name filter, as boatguy said a tiny bit of smell not been cleaned adds up.
Issue with cheap filters is they can have gaps in due to poor packing and a gap means the air will flow that way and not be cleaned.

If your S&P fan was keeping temps in the tent under control then its the filter you want to change, the filter just has to be bigger than the fan cfm.
The bigger it is the slower the air the longer it will last.

One extra thing though , taking into account your just recirculating air, if your humidity is too high in the room then it stops the filter been effective.

If you want better odor control, you are better off using a slower speed exhaust fan with a higher rated, (CFM), carbon filter, for a 4 x 4, I would use a cheap 6" 240CFM fan, hooked to 6" to 4" reducer, hooked to a 16" x 4" carbon filter 400CFM. I can grow some of the stinkiest skunk you would ever smell and venting my exhaust right back into the room that the tent is in, using what I said previously, you wouldn't smell a thing in that room. Yeah, you have to give the carbon filter more time to process the odors, and it will if you give it the time to do it!

Thanks than i will go for about 250-300 CFM fan and 590 CFM "CAN Lite 1000 scrubber". I also duct HPS cooltube to fan.
Air goes to scrubber>cooltube>fan>out from tent.
Still worried about it. There was hugely dominant odor last time. I was able to smell it even when i m on elevator in the apartment. I used ona gels and airfresheners, odor blockers all over the house and i recognize all are useless for me. Thats why i worry about it too much. Carbon/fan setup was working great at veg phases and early flowering without any odor but when sticky buds started to ripen it didnt work at all.
