Odor control ideas?

I have plants growing in a basement closet. The odor is becoming noticeable when people walk past now that they are flowering. Finished basement so people do walk by it occasionally. It's not in a grow tent or enclosure. I don't have any options for external exhaust. Currently I'm using room deodorizers but it's not doing the job well enough. And ideas on what to do?

You are doing all you really can do if you dont have access to exhaust and filters. Next time pick a strain thats not so danky;)

Yeah. I didn't know what they are. I'm using some random bag seeds to learn how to grow. I think next time I'll get a tent and get a carbon filter. On the plus side I got one sativa which are in short supply at my area dispensaries.

Cant you just scrub the air with a carbon filter and fan? Works for me without exhausting outside.

Air doesn't have to be exhausted, a carbon filter will still do the job...

Smell is only going to get stronger. Get carbon filter now don't wait. It's not worth the risk.

Duct Muffler(s)+Carbon Filter+Fan+Router Speed Controller aka Fan Controller= Quiet pure air filtration.
Craigslist is your friend, maybe?:D

Put the stack together and needs no exhaust it will recirculate the room.

I just put in the unit that GroJo! suggested. It isn't loud at all, the oscillating fan I have in there for air movement is louder so it shouldn't be noticeable. My guest that thought the smell was cat urine on the carpet will be the ultimate test to see if it does the job.
