Ocean forest trash

After ten years I’ll be letting it go and never touching it again. Decanted an entire crop even when blended 50/50 with promix. Toxic as hell. Plants should have been so starved by now that they’re dead but they just keep burning and burning and showing symptoms I’ve never encountered and I’m a seasone grower who’s used this mix for nearly a decade. Two months now in these 3 gallon pots and no sign that things will change

My opinion is theres two ways to go,Drain to waste or full organic.Paying for soil that has "some nutes" and then feeding salts after a few weeks seams pointless. If bottled food is your way just start that way,,, promix or coco.Set up a flood table and feed to runoff every watering.
Organic.Build your soil, let cook, plant, topdress.

That is a good plan. I was using epsoma organic fertilizer which is actually great but time to cut out the soil with fert already added. I really like epsoma products as I like to be a little different and to avoid spending at the hydro shop. I think I’ll blend promix with epsoma potting which is peat, perlite and worm castings and then build on that. My plants are currently 4 weeks into flower so I don’t want to flush. It was my mistake to trigger flower with these issues but I was in a rush due to circumstances. It’s so strange that this soil is so over loaded with whatever is hurting the plants when it’s blended 50/50 with promix. The roots don’t even want to go into the soil much. Two plants are just in promix and they’re lush green and happy with strong root development when I slid them out of pots.
