Occasional pain after Orgasm

This is something that has been happening to me since my early teens, IOW since I learned to masturbate. Occasionally after I orgasm I will notice a pain begin in my penis that eventually extends the length of the shaft and into the 'root'. This pain is delayed, onsetting about 10 minutes after orgasm, and lasts anywhere from 20-45 minutes before it peaks and then quickly fades away. The pain is also accompanied by a urgent need to urinate, although my bladder will be empty. I have found a warm bath will make the pain subside within a few minutes As I have gotten older, the pain comes less and less often, is not as intense, and does not last as long. I am more curious than concerned as, like I said, this has been a normal part of masturbation since I was young. It used to happen about once a month, now it happens just a few times a year.

I am of course too embarrassed to ask my friends about this in person. I have asked online friends before, and they all have no idea what I am talking about. An internet search suggests the pain is similar to Prostatitis, or inflammation of the prostate, yet I can find no conditions where inflammation comes and goes throughout life.

So, any other guys have this happen?

I haven't experienced that, Heis. From time to time when I masturbate too often, it'll be sore for a day or two. Too sore to try for another orgasm. During these times, I find that if I use the other hand there's almost no pain at all, almost like my dick just doesn't want to go along the usual path and is demanding some variety...

P.S. Have you ever mentioned this to an MD during a check up?

My prostate is already a bit of a pain in the youknowwhatski.

But iirc the pain is not delayed but fairly immediate ... within a minute, say. And since I injured my unit in midspan as a young pup, the focus is usually there, spreading back to the rot. cn

Haha, yea I consider that soreness normal wear and tear, and I don't let it stop me! Actually, I don't let the orgasm pain stop me either. I have in the past masturbated again as soon as the pain subsided, and the second orgasm produced no pain, so it seems to be a finicky condition.

I have been to a doctor only handful of times in my life, and it honestly never occurred to me to mention it. In the past I would have been too embarrassed but now days I am not as inhibited. On websites, it says if the condition does not interfere with routine life or cause distress then it is probably benign. I have come to think of it as like a headache, just happens sometimes.
