FOX news is the only news co that has reported this story, besides CNN.
No wonder Obama hates FOX, because he hates the truth.
Most the country is left living in ignorant bliss as usual
You need to quit listening to their commercials. I saw this on MSNBC a few days ago now.

Here is an idea, why don't they let sting operations stick with the police. This is nothing more than a large sting operation that is called news. Were the ladies that they set up ever deal in prostitution? Well if they were not prostitutes and the people doing the sting operation were not prostitutes, why were they doing that?

News reporters should report news, not make the news.

This is the issue I have with all media today, it is about getting a juicy story, even if you have to make it up.

At least with the child molester stings on dateline, they were reporting what the cops were doing, and not setting it up themselves. This is a joke, and obviously a smear campaign that is set up to benefit the republicans and you all are buying it hook line and sinker.

You talk about liberty, and justice, and the constitution so much, why should that not go for the rights of these companies too? Wouldn't/shouldn't this be a invasion of privacy? Did those people know they were on camera? What about their rights of protection?

What a joke.

Here's some friggin GOOD news for a change..... at least a change for me! Whew!!

ACORN Watch: Census Bureau cuts ties; Update: Census letter added

By Michelle Malkin • September 11, 2009 06:26 PM

It’s a start!
FNC’s Major Garrett reports on Twitter that the U.S. Census Bureau has cut all ties to ACORN, which had been named a Census data collection partner for the 2010 Census.
Census director Robert Groves, an ACORN-approved nominee, reportedly sent a letter to the racketeers today in the wake of Big Government’s videotaped stings in Baltimore and DC.
Now, on to a full investigation of the ACORN Housing Corporation, CSI, CCI, Project Vote and the Obama campaign.
No more taxpayer funding for this corrupt racket.
Cut ‘em all off NOW.
Repeat after me: ACORN is a criminal enterprise.

Will Obama continue to align himself with this band of thugs? I think Obama is just as corrupt - a politician, or he would come out and try to separate himself from them. But here's the problem:

Now It's time for Barack Hussein Obama to resign! :hump::hump::hump:

Now that Obama's agenda is tied to Acorn

And why is it, the government, is not investigating this organization, now that's it's clear your tax dollars have been going to these gangsters.

Or maybe it is just that Obama cares more about helping the people that have been crapped on the most over the last 40 years than the pocket books of the ones that were.

How many advantages in government programs and tax breaks are directed to the top? How much money do say the large farmers get vs the small farmers? How much tax breaks to the large oil execs vs new green sciences over the last few decades?

People were warned but it was a very one sided and not realistic view that the warning came from.

Taxes going to community organizations that help people find places to live, to get the most out of education, to get tax help, is not a bad thing in my opinion.

But by all means if you would rather it go to things like allowing Exxon get out of their oil spills in say alaska, then so be it. We were warned.

The last count I heard on ACORN'S participation in voter fraud was their registration of approximately 400,000 people who don't exist and who never existed.

ACORN is a front group for a multitude of hard-left extremist groups. They have an entire network going including unions, charities and whatever, all for the sole purpose of getting their George Soros, anti-capitalism agendas passed.

Now that we have more options at our disposal for news other than "The Big Three," its like shining a bright light on a nest of cockroaches. The Hard-Left's answer: Bring back The Fairness Doctrine and control the information on the Internet. In the meantime, its a lot of fun watching the roaches scurry for cover.

Believe it or not ... I heard on the news this morning that ACORN is going to file a defamation lawsuit against the couple that outed their "tax experts" in the prostitution tax fraud scheme.

Do a little more digging Vi, you will find that that 'couple' really seems to be more like a smear campaign, because it looks like there are more out there that were trying to get this same 'scoop' at the same time. And if there is more than one doing this, that starts to stink like something more.

I personally don't care about Acorn, Before the republicans decided to use them as some kind of spear head, I had never even heard of them. I do feel bad for the people that rely on their help, but someone else should step up and fill that void.

And those scary 400,000 false names *Gasp* was a bunch of people scamming their system to get more money, because they got paid to collect names. Those names were never able to vote, or even real. So don't worry about that, because it is meaningless.

And I would be all for the people reporting the "News" to have to actually tell the truth and actually report the truth. It will still leave everyone else to scare up bs and post it, but it would not be able to be called news.

I think people should hold others to a higher standard when they pretend to be that higher standard.

You do a good job of castigating others here in the forum for their choices of news sources, so I'd like to know where you get YOUR news to aquire the belief that Obama cares more about helping people instead of aquiring power for himself and his party. Wanna divluge your news sources, hanimmal?

If there were a demand for these "Green Sciences," the free market would be all over it like white on rice. There isn't a demand, so government, and those who stand to make billions off of these so-called sciences, like
Al Gore and GE have to lobby government to FORCE this crap down our throats. When the "Greens" start talking about nuclear energy, and stop the effort to convert our food into fuel, I'll start believing their sincerity.

Could it be that a lack of warning suggests an agenda?

Taxes going to community organizations that help people find places to live, to get the most out of education, to get tax help, is not a bad thing in my opinion.

ACORN is a muscle group that threatened banks with lawsuits and boycotts if they didn't lend to subprime borrowers. ACORN, along with complicit members of the Democrat Party, was a major player in the destruction of the housing markets and the mortgage default problems we see today.

But by all means if you would rather it go to things like allowing Exxon get out of their oil spills in say alaska, then so be it. We were warned.
And Exxon spent, and was fined billions for that oil spill. Please explain how they got a free ride. Thanks ...

And by the way, again ... where do you get your news? You seem awfully misinformed. Just sayin ....

Really did you know they got away with only having to pay out 500million out of the multi billion dollar lawsuit that they lost?

And twenty years after the disaster, litigation against Exxon continues to drag on. In 1994, an Alaskan jury found Exxon responsible and ruled the company should pay $5 billion in punitive damages to some 33,000 plaintiffs. Exxon appealed. In 2006, the 9th US Circuit Court cut the award of punitive damages in half to $2.5 billion. Then, in a 5-to-3 ruling last June, the Supreme Court cut the amount of punitive damages again and ordered Exxon Mobil to pay just $500 million in punitive damages, one-tenth of the original jury’s ruling. That equates to about four days of Exxon Mobil’s net profits.
Thanks ...

And by the way, again ... where do you get your news? You seem awfully misinformed. Just sayin ....
Really because if you would have taken a couple seconds before you posted to try to find the actual information you would have found that. But I guess that is not something that they talk about on the news you get.

Maybe you have short term memory loss, or are just advancing in age, but I actually made a whole thread about this about a month or two ago. Here you go this is where I get me news and formulate the opinions and fact check: https://www.rollitup.org/politics/219147-how-do-you-form-your.html#post2797075

You must have a different view on business. Because as much as I love the free market, and know the power of it, I also know that the free market is also wrong a lot. Think about how many times in history a great idea that would have advanced technology has been bought up by the bigger companies and destroyed so that they did not have to compete.

I am all about Nuclear power, but why stop there? Just because people try to convince you that there is no market for it? Why are Hybrids and very fuel efficient cars topping the lists of new car purchases if people did not want them? You don't seem to get that government has helped a lot of the technology that we now enjoy, because research is not profitable, and companies love to stick with what has made them money, and then just swallow up the companies that would take that profit away rather than improve on what they do.

Could it be that a lack of warning suggests an agenda?
Only the agenda of not being full of crap and trying to get a witch hunt going.

ACORN is a muscle group that threatened banks with lawsuits and boycotts if they didn't lend to subprime borrowers. ACORN, along with complicit members of the Democrat Party, was a major player in the destruction of the housing markets and the mortgage default problems we see today.
That is such garbage. Acorn did not create the no paper work loan, or any other of the garbage loans. That is a cop out, and you really should look more into where the bad practices started. The mac banks were a scape goat. The companies like Quicken loans, were the ones that realized the major bucks they could make by pushing all these junk loans and turning and selling them to wall street who then turned and sold them to foreign brokers bankrupting everyone in the process.

I really don't think Acorn has that kind of power. Heck even the government does not have that kind of power. They gave what almost a trillion to the banks to get the lending freeze gone, but it took about a year for them to loosen up the belt?

I mean seriously.

It's not a smear campaign if the participants smear themselves. That is what happened. The video is quite clear for all to see that the advice was commonly given. No hesitations, no having to look up statutes (what are they?), just right off the tongue subversion.

The smear campaign going on is the "left" trying to muzzle and/or change the story line.

It's embarrassing to law abiding voters everywhere. Obama's friends are an embarrassment to the nation. Obama is becoming an embarrassment.....

What would you say a news company has to do to be a smear campaign then CJ?

Seriously this is is about the same as people shooting crotch shots of celebrities getting out of their cars. Entertainment maybe, but not news.

Leave the sting operations to the police, or at least follow dateline and get the cops in on the bust, so that way we can at least see arrests.

It's called investigative journalism and is done all the time.... ever watch 20/20.... their bread N butter. Just see it for what it is. ACORN has a long track record of malfeasance, this is just one more straw on the camel's back.

If a right wing politically funded action group was accused of voter fraud and occupying banks that don't write loans to rich ppl... you'd be ape over it.

Careful.... ur hypocrisy is showing.....

That is bs. I don't care about banks not writing loans that they don't want to make. Infact I had nothing to say (did chuckle for a second) when Donald Trump was going on every tv show back in April telling everyone how he was not getting the loans he wanted for some project of his.

20/20, dateline, ect have the cops when they are doing the sting operations. Well at least they used to. They used to have news too, now they seem to be borderline entertainment tonight.

All the tv 'news' is garbage now. The only real reporting is when they report on what other news shows have done, because it is cheaper to buy feed than to actually have reporters.

I don't think ACORN receives ANY federal grant money, I do believe they have to perform services ( Like registering a voter, or getting someone onto govt assistance) and get paid tax free money for it. And it pays pretty well considering you don't have to actually do anything, you can just make up all the registrations.

That Tonya gal is a great tax person, she knows how to game the system, she will go far.

Perhaps not grant money, but any google search will turn up quite a few websites that detail how they receive federal funding. The difference, which you probably know, are that grants don't require payback while federal funding is more on a quid pro quo system.
