Because part of the 2008 election liberal tactic is to ride the "I H8 BUSH" bandwagon till the very bitter end. They helped inflame the hatred toward Bush and now that he is unpopular they are attempting to link him to any enemy that they have. Most people see through it but the dumb ones, however there are a lot of dumb people in America..

Ok, what everyone doesn't seem to get is this: EVERYONE IN THE COUNTRY WITH MORE THAN HALF A BRAIN HAS ALREADY MADE UP THEIR MIND. Right now, they're pitching to the dummies. Both candidates will avoid answering questions and talk to people like they're children.

McCain is basically Bush. He had some differences when the campaign began, but he flip-flopped on nearly all of them, and aligned himself with Bush's positions. So, linking him to Bush makes much sense -- now that McCain's changed his position where they had differences, there *is* no real difference.

Oh, I liked how McCain said he would cut spending by about 30 billion, cut taxes by 300 billion, then tore into "politicians" for getting the national debt up to 10 billion dollars.

"Some of the $700 Billion dollars ends up in the hands of terrorist organizations..." Yeah, either Banks/Financial Institutions or Al Qaeda.

A vote for Obama is a vote for Terrorism,
A vote for McCain is a vote for Terrorism,
Vote against Terrorism, don't vote Republican or Democrat this election!

That whole line is a lie. For one, we don't use $700 billion worth of oil per year, from all sources combined. Secondly, more than a third of the oil we do use comes from Canada, Mexico, and Britain. We also produce some of our own. Not sure where they got their misinformation. Maybe it's from Palin, the energy expert, who doesn't know how much oil/energy her own state produces.

It means that there wont be any social security checks in a few years... the government will eventually steal everyones retirement and fuck over all the american people... That way we will "need" the government to survive. ya know? Rising gas prices is one thing... then rising food prices will be next.

Uhhh, you're a little late with that prediction, food prices are already going through the roof.

Plant a garden and grow some of your own food! It's waaay easier than many people think. I started one a couple of years ago, and I just expand it a bit each year, so I don't have too much work to do at any one time (I'm a lazy mofo). I'd say my garden is providing about two grand worth of healthy food each year now. No, it's not a ton, but it's two grand more in my pocket than I would have had otherwise. And as some of the trees and shrubs I planted reach maturity, the amount of food (and savings) will only increase.

Peppers, broccoli, blueberries, beans, apples, walnuts, and hazelnuts -- I eat a lot of those, because they're free now, and healthy.

Back in WWII most everyone had a garden. They called them 'Victory Gardens'. We should, as a society, revisit that concept. It helps peoples' pocketbooks, saves gas transporting food (which saves the environment), and prolongs your life/health. When you can get a few hundred pounds of healthy food for ten bucks worth of seeds, well, why wouldn't you?

I've got pears, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, beans, watermelons, and spices. Only a small yard to plant in though. I don't think I've gotten anywhere near $2000 worth of food though. Considering I spend about $25 on food a week, I probably don't spend that much on food in a year. :p

huh? i proves he isn't imperfect. he forgot the question. spin it and you say obama will decriminalize pot? i read his quote that he would not raid any states medicinal marajuana shop with federal agents. it is already decriminalized.

i will give you a quick govt lesson.

president writes legeslation, president takes it to house and senate for an approval. senate needs 2/3 vote and house needs majority unless previously presidential veto needs 2/3.

so to me,yo voting obama because he is for pot leads me to believe you really don't know how our govt really works.

bu hey, it worked for hitler.

Social Security vanishing doesn't bother me as nearly as much as it bothers med, and the older workers. For me, I've always seen Social Security as a tax, that I don't count on receiving back, ever.

So, I've always been trying to invest for my own retirement.

Trusting the government is like sleeping with a whore, you only end up deeper in the hole.
