Oakland weed laws

Hi,

I just received my medical documents that allows me to purchase/grow marijuana.
I have 10 plants. Is this perfectly legal in Oakland? I can't get prosecuted and/or arrested? I've looked at a few sites and they mentioned in Oakland you can have as many as 72 plants withing a 32sqft space. The state however says 6 plants. I'm I ok with the city ordinance?
Should I be worried?

I just want to be legal about everything. Sometimes I get paranoid. ha
Thanks. :leaf:

I've read this before...just a little confused with the following:

"Under the guidelines, qualified patients and/or their primary caregivers may possess no more than eight ounces of dried marijuana and/or six mature (or 12 immature) marijuana plants. However, S.B. 420 allows patients to possess larger amounts of marijuana when such quantities are recommended by a physician. The legislation also allows counties and municipalities to approve and/or maintain local ordinances permitting patients to possess larger quantities of medicinal pot than allowed under the new state guidelines."

I didn't get a recommendation from my doctor that I could posses larger amounts...however I live in Oakland where the local ordinance is 72 plants...

So I'm perfectly fine? No worries? I can have a cop come and show them my papers and be totally fine?

Oakland
Indoors - 72 plants in maximum 32 sq. ft growing area. Outdoors - 20 plants, no area limit. Weight limit 3 lbs dried marijuana per patient. Collective gardens limited to 3 patients. Dispensaries serving four or more patients are allowed max. 6 mature and 12 immature plants and 1/2 pound per patient. See Oakland Municipal Code 5.81.101

Found that here
