Nutrtient Content Problem?

Just curious what other aerogardners are running their PPM's at. I have been starting at around 1300ppm once all of my nute's are added and changing the water at around 750ppm. I am running the FULL Advanced Nutrients line at their recommended levels. I vigilantly keep my Ph between 5.5 and 6.2 but my babies always seem to have a little burn to them. Sometimes the leaves will dry up (starting at the tips and working it's way to the stem) and I have some random yellowing and spotting. I have no pests and pretty good conditions all around but my plants just always have a little unhealthy look. I just started working with aeroponics so it is a little new to me. I have heard that you should run less nutrients than what is recommended but I wanted to get some feedback before I stray from the manufacturers recommended feed schedule. I don't have pics on me but I think I can post some if anyone needs to see them.
Thanks for anyone that has any advise!!!

It sounds like you might be over-doing it with the ferts.. Why don't you call up Advanced and ask their technicians for tips on aeroponics?

They are so helpful to talk to usually.

Oregon Diesel: I think we need to establish whether you're talking about aeroponics gardeners or Aerogaden gardeners. The latter is using complete growing system with a 112 ounces reservoir that is changed weekly and as a result we don't normally have to worry about ppm's if our nutes are properly mixed according to the manufacturers recommendations. That's the problem with us being placed in here with aeroponics gardeners we don't share many common problems.

how are you getting the 1300 ppm down to 750??? Try to use the water that comes from you A/C run off. It's Free! mine is at 4 ppm and the pH is 5. I add just under 1/8th baking soda. to two gallons of A/C water. Just make sure that you let the water sit for a while so the temp. can come up to room temp. I use GH products. they don't mess with the pH level and the series is under $50 for all four ferts. Hydroponics are great but just figuring it out on your own will be the true test. I have read and read blogs and forums and never any real help. just make sure you start writing and measuring everything so you can get it right. (NEVER GO BY LABLES)! Good Luck my friend!

make it easier on yourself and get the iphone app from GH.

These guys have been making weed juice for decades.. hey have detailed application guides on the internet, in print, and on the iphone.

You're right tho, don't use the label on the bottle.. It is a simplistic guide. Their expert program is plant-specific. When you see their schedule, you can see why it is not printed on the bottle..

anyhow, they are great at buffering their own pH..

i love the flora series
