Nutrients ?

i'm using g.o biothrive grow and i mixed 2tsp. it with a gallon of water and like a week later i opened it to water my plants and it smelled like really foul do anyone know what thats from ???

do anyone know what that can be or have any one had this problem ???

Why not just mix it with water at the time you are ready to water and feed?

because it said 2tsp per gallon so that's what i did

I mean why not mix the nutes with the water when you are ready to use them. Not mix them, use a little then let it sit. Mix only what you need right then and there.

Cant let the nutrients sit aorund like that, they will go bad. If they contain organics the organics will rot and the smell is from bacteria.....the BAD kind!

Only mix enough to use for EACH watering.

Some products are best kept in the fridge to prolong there potency and shelf life. Some products have preservatives added and you do not have to worry about it too much. But preservatives are usually a no-no in organic formulas....sooo its like a catch 22 or something.......

when useing organic nutrients can u flush at all?

oh the nutrient was expired...if you want to keep nutrient long like more than few days...airstone will do the job...to keep nutrient oxygenated and still good in a week later

dj2short2115, i dont flush when im growing organic or synethic either, i will flush only if i have def issue.
