Nutrients

What kind of nutrients do I need to add to increase my yield?

On my current plant I veged for 2 months under a 600w mh with an air cooled hood and fim twice in veg to have 4 cola's. After fimming the side branches are the same height as the tops so it looks like I have about 8 tops. At this point the plant is a little over 2 ft tall. I then transplant it into a #10 smart pot and I use Fox farms ocean forest medium, blood meal, bone meal, worm castings, epson salt, and perlite. Switch to 12/12 under a 600w hps with an air cooled hood after transplanted. I am feeding with just water and liquid koolbloom right now and during the last 5 weeks I will be adding molasses and koolbloom dry on the last 3 weeks. This is what I'm doing right now. Prior to this I did not fim and did not use koolbloom. I only used the soil mix I used as stated above and only watered and used molasses on the last 2 weeks. I only got an oz on a 4 ft tall plant. Plant stayed green until harvest and showed no sighs of difenciency. Ph is consistant at just under 7.

What can I do to achieve higher yield results? So what kind of nutrients do you suggest I add? I'm in the first week of flower right now. I'm gonna use koolbloom wet in the beginning and koolbloom dry on the last 3 weeks as directed on the instructions. Am I gonna be ok with this setup? I just don't wanna get nut burn since I'm already using blood meal and bone meal. Or could I just add more blood meal and bone meal when I water instead of koolbloom? Please help me out.

It looks like you've already got things dialed in good. Maybe the problem was you grew a poor producing strain.

how far were/are you keeping the light from the plants? Did they stretch a lot and that's why yo only yielded a zip on a 4 footer, or?

that's really odd then, I haven't searched the strain, is it a low yielder? what were you expecting prior to harvesting it?

It supposed to be a pretty good yielding plant. I was expecting at least 3 oz dry. I also didn't do any pruning so all the lower branches were there. Would that have been the reason? This time I fimmed twice and pruned off the lower branches.

Anybody know what I should do?

hmmm...i'm trying to think outta the box here for you....

I think in your case (if I were you)...i would clone the shit outta that plant, creating lots of lil plants and flower the lil plants which will in turn increase your yield by maximizing your surface area use. each lil plant should be able to yield around a zip a piece...you have 9-12 plants...9-12 zips...

I'm not able to do that. It's a medical grow and I'm limited to 6 plants over 12"x12" and 18 non adult plants at under 12"x12". So this means in order to be within my limits I have to have 3 plants in flower and 3 in veg. By the time the ones in flower are done the ones in veg are over 2 ft tall, fimmed, and ready for flower.

The flowers are starting to show now and I'm real hopeful for this grow. Hopefully this time around I'll yield a lot more. If it does then I guess fimming twice, koolbloom liquid, and koolbloom dry would be my answer that did the trick. Oh and lower humidity because on this grow I now have a dehumidifier that keeps RH at 29 compared to 60 on my last grow.
